Title: Darwin nominee's don't have to die, Here's California Proof!
Post by: twyacht on July 28, 2009, 07:28:52 PM
They are the walking brain dead....Let the counsel debate the feasibility of being "brain dead" for the Darwin Award,....

Taken from the Huffington Post which adds to my point.. ;)

VIDEO AT LINK!!!

Really scroll down to the video,......

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/07/24/is-this-the-stupidest-per_n_244440.html

We're praying, really really hard, that this is a joke, because if it's not and this person has survived as long as she has it means that we've reversed the course of evolution and have no hope as a species.

At a 2008 city council meeting the politicians and citizens of Santa Cruz were treated to testimony from a young woman who may, in fact, be the stupidest person alive. She began by explaining that food is good:

I think that we should make a perfect pesticide for the crops but it's good for people and healthy and keeps the crops preserved too because we need the food because it's food and stuff.

That, while expressed poorly, is the smartest thing she says in the video. She goes on to say:

We can be rich in cotton and mining metals and silkworms and we can makes things, we can make things cars, the machine can make it for us...on the East Coast they have slaves and they believe in slavery and made in China, but on the West Coast, the new West Coast, we don't believe in that. We believe in the union and that's what we are.

Not knowing where to begin, I'm going to start with the whole slavery thing. It's hard to know whether she is talking about Antebellum America (is the union she refers to the Union?) and actually thinks we have slaves in New York City or does she mean unions that protect workers and thinks we believe in slavery because of outsourcing? Either way, she's crazypants, but I still hope she means the latter. Also, what is the "new West Coast"?

She goes on to state her support for the Bush administration (not surprising) and talk about vegetable trees, which she may see after the hefty doses of pro-psychotics she must be on.

Damn, Even the Huffington post is calling her stupid, That's awfully judgmental of them and not very inclusive.
I thought we were supposed to EMBRACE diversity, whether of age, race, orientation, or Planet of origin ?
How does some one this stupid remember to breathe ?

Must be Barbara Boxer's district, her supporters are "easily rallied" against slaves and stuff,.......

Really gives me hope for the youth of this country,.like c'mon, like we make stuff, and ya'know be organic and need to make good pesticides........and keep those slaves on the East coast........ it's a California thing, and they know stuff...

 :P

I could drink Hazerita's for 10 hours and still blow this girls mind.....Sad,... and she vote's!!!!!.....

So do I have the Darwin "exception" taking the walking dead clause????

The gene pool is not only getting very shallow.................................like it might dry up and stuff if we don't import some of the slaves water from Asia and places like that that have like lots of water and cats and happy frogs in dresses and organic clouds that like rain rain without any like bad stuff in them and maybe we could go for a ride later like we could and.............................

If it was the sixties or even the seventies we could say that she was a burnout, but the truly scary part is that she didn't destroy her brain with drugs. It's like, all natural, organic idiocy.  Sheeeeeesh!!!!

I think the critics should be ashamed of themselves, she is obviously a public school honor student. A proud graduates of a public charter school, Valley Girl High.

Do you guys ever have to go to City Council meetings? I do. There are no shortage of screwballs that turn an otherwise short meeting into hours of "public comment". Don't get to worked up over this. I'm sure there are council groupies in your town/city as well.

I could not watch the entire thing straight through. I had to pause it several times so I could take a break from the stupidity of it all. That may not seem like much, but until this video, there wasn't a video out there (including any of the 'gross-out' videos) that required me to stop watching or turn away for fear I would lose my sanity.

Bravo to her, she made me cringe.

If anything she proves Darwin's theories wrong or natural selection was asleep on the job. ;D

Don't know if you could give her the award because she REALLY needs to be no part of the gene pool.

You got a point there......... if Darwin had been correct, we shouldn't have such a preponderance of dumbasses roaming the nation....... and particularly in places of importance (DC).

Darwin is still valid. The problem is we've created an artficial environment where stupid people are promoted beyond their ability, when they should just die from their stupidity.

And I hate them all. I've had to show up for a few as part of work. We were doing a tutoring adult education thing and needed a few (like 5K) dollars for books and materials. We were always last on the agenda and having to listen to these idiots drone on and on about leash laws and park maintaince stuff, with all sorts of quotations like they were at a freaking oratory contest made me glad for the "no guns in public buildings" rule. Otherwise,I would not have been held responsible. Honestly, I had a five point presentation that would take about three minutes (tops) to deliver and had to sit through hours of droning without throtteling some one. When I die and go to hell I know where I will be sent. Why someone would WANT to be on a city council is beyond me.
FQ13 who was scarred for life.
