Title: EOTech Customer Service
Post by: Rastus on July 30, 2009, 06:26:34 AM
Does anyone here have any experience with the customer service at EOTech?  My 551.A65 has croaked after 2 years...actually it croaked before then but it was an intermittent failure and I only had time now to find out it wasn't batteries or corrosion on battery contacts.

Anything good, bad or indifferent?  Quirks?

Six thirty in the morning here and I already have my answer:

Hello Ken,

You have given me all the info I need for the ra here….  Please use the one above.

Return to address below with ref to the ra on the carton.   MFG date is past the warranty period but I feel we need to correct this for you at no charge.
sincerely

Sounds good so far, let us know how long they take and if they get it right.

Thanks for posting that Rastus. It makes me feel better about buying mine. Not only an American company, but one that understands that its better to eat a few bucks short term and gain a customer for life, than hide behind legal weasel words and drive a client away.

I've known a lot of the Eotech people on a first name basis for years.  All of them are great, trustworthy folks.  They're all very proud of their product and take pride in its quailty (rare these days).

Good American company!

Nice to see Rastus...

And from a part of the country, my home state, that's really hurting for business.  They could have just as easily said no and tried to sell you another.

They have my business if I ever need it!

Sorry for the late reply guys.  The good people at L-3 (EOTech) had me fixed up inside of two weeks at no charge.

Range trial this weekend....excellent!

Two thumbs up experience.  They actually answer their emails ! ! ! ! !

That right there puts them head  and shoulders above most! But it sounds like you were done right all the way.....Maybe I should put an EOtech on the 7.62x39 AR I'm building....  8)

Rastus,

I'm really slow here and missed this thread.

Is that the one that was giving fits in June?

Kinda like a diesel truck engine in a Delorean isnt it?  AK's are plentiful and cheap!
