WASHINGTON – California attorney
Orly Taitz, who has filed a number of lawsuits demanding proof of Barack Obama's eligibility to serve as president, has released a copy of what purports to be a Kenyan certification of birth and has filed a new motion in U.S. District Court
for its authentication.
The document lists Obama's parents as Barack Hussein Obama and Stanley Ann Obama, formerly Stanley Ann Dunham, the birth date as Aug. 4, 1961, and the hospital of birth as Coast General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya.
Rest of the article, story and pictures..

The document certainly appears to be an "official birth certificate."
Time will tell. We can only hope and pray. There is always the problem that George Soros could buy Kenya, before the truth comes out. >:(

I LIKE Lou Dobbs... :)
Lou Dobbs Right on Obama Birth Certificate
The Associated Press is wrong and Lou Dobbs is right.
This past weekend, the AP published a story entitled "CNN's Dobbs Under Fire for Hosting 'Birthers'".
The AP began their highly critical story on Dobbs: "He's become a publicity nightmare for CNN, embarrassed his boss and hosted a show that seemed to contradict the network's 'no bias' brand."
And what is Dobbs' "crime?" He has said on air that Obama should release his birth certificate and has had on his show guests who suggested Obama was born outside the U.S.
Dobbs does not believe Obama was born outside the U.S., nor does Newsmax. The evidence indicates he was born in Hawaii. But the indisputable fact is that Obama has not released his birth certificate, which the state of Hawaii issues for all citizens born there. The AP implies that Obama has not released a "long version of his birth certificate." But Obama has never released either a long or short version of his birth certificate.
Instead, Obama's campaign last year released only his Certification of Live Birth from the state of Hawaii, which is a document that offers a summarized version of the birth certificate. Even state residents born outside the U.S. can get one.
During the 2008 presidential campaign, GOP nominee Sen. John McCain quickly released his birth certificate when liberal bloggers raised questions about his eligibility to be president. McCain was born at a military hospital in Panama.
Obama likewise could put the matter to rest by releasing his actual birth certificate, which would show, among other things, the place of his birth and the doctor who performed the birth procedure.
This information is not provided on the Certification of Live Birth.

That is what is funny, all Lou Dobbs ever said was that he thought Obama was a citizen but if they wanted to shut up the critics just show the "long form" certificate that might list a hospital and a doctor. If they would do that all this stuff goes away, but they won't do that, why?

Unlike the fake Hawaiian certificate his campaign tried to pass off, this one actually has an EMBOSSED seal.

I predict, which I hope does NOT come true, the court(s) will refuse to hear any further claims on this matter.......But I will hope anyway....

What Obama and My Wife Have in Common
by Chuck Norris
08/04/2009
Dear Mr. President:
First, happy birthday. I do hope today is an enjoyable day for you and your family. Coincidentally, I also will be celebrating this week the birth of someone dear to me, my beloved wife, Gena, whose birthday is Aug. 9.
Speaking of birthdays, I couldn't help but hear and read all over the news this past week about the fresh attention to your constitutional eligibility and natural-born citizen status. I hardly can believe that individuals are offering bounties -- one for $100,000 -- for any personal witness or sufficient evidence to your American birth.
Believe it or not, I'm not writing you to challenge whether or not you were born in America, though I see nothing wrong with the American public's voicing that constitutionally based grievance with someone in your esteemed position. As one blogger wrote, after all, "We aren't talking about a 12-year-old qualifying to play Little League here." Or as Ronald Reagan once said, "Trust but verify."
I must admit that I find it a bit of a groundless stretch not to believe in the birth announcements in two major Hawaiian newspapers in August 1961, in which Hawaii's Health Department would have been required to post information it received directly from hospitals: "Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy., son, Aug. 4." Nevertheless, that proof doesn't answer why you refuse to reveal your original birth certificate and end the growing tides of controversy.
I'm writing you because this is no longer a matter merely about proving you meet a presidential prerequisite in the Constitution. Refusing to post your original birth certificate is an unwise political and leadership decision that is enabling the "birther" controversy. The nation you are called to lead is experiencing a growing swell of conspirators who are convinced that you are covering up something. So why not just prove them wrong and shut them up?
I agree with CNN's Lou Dobbs, who was chastised by his own media outlet for demanding the release of your original birth certificate. Why was that such a bad request? We certainly know why Jon Klein, the president of CNN/U.S., thought it was a bad idea. He previously declared that CNN researchers had determined that your 1961 birth certificate no longer exists.
But Hawaii officials confirmed again last week that they indeed have your original birth certificate on file. Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, repeated her October 2008 statement that she had seen with her own eyes the "original vital records."
Some claim that even you cannot see or request your own personal birth certificate because Hawaii's disclosure law (Hawaii Revised Statutes 338-18) states that "it shall be unlawful for any person to permit inspection of, or to disclose information contained in vital statistics records, or to copy or issue a copy of all or part of any such record."
But the law further states that Hawaii's Health Department "shall not permit inspection of public health statistics records, or issue a certified copy of any such record or part thereof, unless it is satisfied that the applicant has a direct and tangible interest in the record" (emphasis added).
Isn't categorically satisfying constitutional requirements for a president or answering the First Amendment grievances of hundreds of thousands of Americans or ending a national debate or healing a country's divisions enough "direct and tangible interest"?
Mr. President, as more and more people realize that you are refusing to release your original birth certificate, further questions will fuel the fires of debate or at least hinder the embers from ever being snuffed out. Questions such as, "Does it really contain the Hawaiian physician's name?" "Does it disclose something other than his birthplace that he wishes others not to see?"
Of course, not every U.S. citizen has access to his original birth certificate, but you do, and yours is the only one under debate. As valuable as copies can be, textual critics know that nothing outweighs an original, especially when only it contains the information under question.
Again, why don't you simply request, release and give permission to make public your original birth certificate?
Mr. President, you promised the American people that you are "committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government." In fact, in your July 23 prime-time news conference, you said that your administration has been more transparent than previous administrations: "I think that we have provided much greater transparency than existed prior to our administration coming in."
So again, I ask: Why not live out that transparency promise by posting your original birth certificate and end the division and debate?
Well, I have a birthday to plan, so I had better get going.
Again, happy birthday, Mr. President.
Yours Truly,
Chuck Norris

Jon Klein, the president of CNN has spoken. Your efforts to demand that Barack Hussein Obama actually produce his birth certificate and prove to the American people that he is eligible to sit in the Oval Office... that he is not a fraud and a usurper... are "dead."
According to Klein, "anyone who still is not convinced doesn't really have a legitimate beef."
But Klein simply didn't keep that opinion to himself... as far as Klein is concerned, his opinion is the news.
According to TalkingPointsMemo.com (TPM), Klein had the audacity to send an e-mail to the CNN staff making an outrageous and totally bogus assertion. Essentially Klein claimed that Obama's actual birth certificate does not exist because the State of Hawaii destroyed it back in 2001:
Here's the relevant part of the e-mail:
"In 2001 - the state of Hawaii Health Department went paperless. Paper documents were discarded The official record of Obama's birth is now an official electronic record Janice Okubo, spokeswoman for the Health Department told the Honolulu Star Bulletin, 'At that time, all information for births from 1908 (on) was put into electronic files for consistent reporting,' she said."
And then, according to TPM, Klein essentially ordered CNN host Lou Dobbs to go on the air and repeat his outrageous fabrication:
Claiming that information contained in the email "seems to definitively answer the question," Klein issued the following directive:
"Since the show's mission is for Lou to be the explainer and enlightener, he should be sure to cite this during your segment tonite. (sic)"
And Dobbs, who to his credit has taken Barack Hussein Obama to task for refusing to produce his birth certificate, ceded to his boss' wishes and reported the fabrication on the air that same night:
"The state of Hawaii says it can't release a paper copy of the president's original birth certificate because they say the state government discarded the original document when the health department records went electronic some eight years ago. That explanation, however, has not satisfied some critics."
Of course, Klein's fabrication was so outrageous that even the State of Hawaii could not let it stand and Janice Okubo with the Hawaii Department of Health almost immediately issued a clarification:
"I am not aware of any birth certificate records that have been destroyed by the department. When the department went electronic in 2001, vital records, whether in paper form or any other form, [were] maintained. We don't destroy records. ... Any records that we had in paper or any other form before 2001 are still in file within the department. We have not destroyed any vital statistics records that we have."
Of course, a number of news outlets took cues from CNN and repeated the fabrication and the extreme liberal blogosphere went crazy.
But you would be hard-pressed to find any coverage of Okubo's "clarification" anywhere. As far as the media was concerned, it didn't exist.
Unbelievable... but Klein's antics show that he (and other liberals in the media) are willing to go to any length... tell any lie... fabricate any story... to shield Barack Hussein Obama from any criticism.
Well, we have a message for Mr. Klein and the other liberals in the MSM. This story is not "dead" and the American people refuse to be silenced.
-
And While I mentioned the subject Of Lou Dobbs...
But there is some good news to report. Your refusal to let this story die and your willingness to take the liberal media to task is having a huge effect.
The fact that media-types like Klein and others are no longer ignoring the story and now see an urgent need to distort the facts is a result of your actions.
They know your efforts are yielding fruit and they're desperately trying to stop you. They fear that some in the media (and the American public) are starting to take this story seriously. And they're right.
Some media personalities are even starting - albeit with an extreme amount of trepidation - to pay attention and accurately report this story.
A prime example is Lou Dobbs who cautiously states that while he "believes" Obama was born in Hawaii, he is disturbed over the fact that Obama is refusing to release his actual birth certificate.
And that's okay... that's exactly the question the media needs to ask... that's the question we want them to ask. After all, what is Obama hiding?
And as for Dobbs, the extreme left has now painted a huge bulls-eye on his back. He's a target and his cautiously stated assertions mean nothing.... they want him fired.
George Soros' Moveon.org and Media Matters for America have launched a nationwide coordinated effort calling for Dobbs termination.
J. Richard Cohen with the Southern Poverty Law Center, who claims requests for Obama to produce his actual birth certificate are being fueled by "an open anti-Semite and circulated by right-wing extremists," made the following demand in a letter to CNN:
"Respectable news organizations should not employ reporters willing to peddle racist conspiracy theories and false propaganda. It's time for CNN to remove Mr. Dobbs from the airwaves."
The left-wing Daily Kos is calling Dobbs "a race baiter" and says he is catering to a "xenophobic audience."
One of the Daily Kos' contributors, kerouacforobama writes:
"Lou Dobbs is an idiot and he should be booted off CNN for his obsession with President Obama's birth certificate. ... We need to get these far-right haters off the air."
Even the Associated Press has chimed in and wrote that Dobbs is a "nightmare for CNN" who has "embarrassed his boss."
And why is the left picking on Dobbs?
Brian Jennings with Big Hollywood might have hit the nail on the head:
"Lou Dobbs who is considered a moderate in most circles is too conservative for such groups who want to forever redefine America. They forget that a healthy democracy is one in which serious questions are raised - and where opposition is essential to it. But, again they want no opposition. And with their dominant control of Washington they will continue to try to push their leftist agenda through the legislative process as fast as they can because they know they have a limited time-frame before America's reasoned masses fully awake and put an end to this out-of-control nonsense."
But the left is not just targeting Dobbs. The left is pursuing Dobbs to send a clear message to everyone in the media... particularly those who might remember - even briefly - that they are journalists and stray off the liberal reservation.
The left is essentially saying: Don't think that your reputation as a moderate will save you... no one is safe... cover this story, and we will ruin you.
-
You Might Be A Conspiracy Theorist If...
And why is there suddenly an urgent need for the liberal media to lie and distort the facts when it comes to Obama's eligibility, under the Constitution, to sit in the Oval Office?
Why fabricate excuses when it comes to Obama's refusal to produce the one document that could prove he is not a fraud and a usurper?
One reason might be a scientific Research 2000 poll commissioned by the extreme left-wing Daily Kos. The poll found that 58% of Republicans either believe that Obama was not born in the United States (28%) or simply aren't sure (30%).
Taking all Americans into account, approximately 22% either believe Obama was not born in the United States or are not sure.
Those numbers do not point to a conspiracy theory. Those number indicate a mainstream opinion.
Comedian Jeff Foxworthy used to perform a stand-up routine on the theme; "You might be a redneck if...."
Well, you might be a "birther" or "conspiracy theorist" if the following unresolved questions disturb you:
1) Even though Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution of the United States requires the that the President of United States be a "natural-born citizen," Obama refuses to produce his actual birth certificate... if that disturbs you... you might be a conspiracy theorist.
2) Team Obama has generated hundreds of thousands in legal fees (perhaps more than a million) thwarting efforts that would compel Obama to produce his birth certificate... if that disturbs you... you might be a conspiracy theorist.
3) The Certification of Live Birth that Team Obama produced is not an actual birth certificate. Pronouncements from media personalities that it's a "birth certificate" will not miraculously and magically transform it into a "birth certificate;" nor will pronouncements from so-called "independent" and "non-partisan," "fact-checking" organizations with established ties to the extreme left and Obama (such as Factcheck.org)... make it miraculously turn into a "birth certificate" ... if such an indisputable fact seems reasonable to you... you might be a conspiracy theorist.
4) The State of Hawaii, until recently, did not accept the Certification of Live Birth as proof that an individual was born in the State of Hawaii, because it was widely known that it was possible for an individual not born in Hawaii to obtain a Certification of Live Birth.
Until recently, the Hawaii Department of Home Lands stated the following on it's website: "In order to process your application, DHHL utilizes information that is found only on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth (a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL."
And that policy recently changed in reaction to the controversy surrounding Obama's refusal to release his actual birth certificate. Is it possible that the officials at DHHL didn't want to be considered conspiracy theorists?
The only conspiracy here is the media conspiracy to cover for Barack Hussein Obama.

Well, we've all seen the photos of Obama smokin' the doob in college. Oh yeah, the college where he was enrolled as a foreign aid student! :)
He's from Kenya, but there are all of the resources to cover that up from here on out - except maybe a Hawaiian birth certificate. Hmmm?

One serious, as in I do this for a living note, on an otherwise amusing topic. Fullbrights (a great program) are not just for foreign students. They also cover US students as well. Seriously, a number of my collegues got their PhD research funded by this program and they used to (or still do) have need based and AA programs as well. Its not dispositive proof of anything, just a fact to consider.

No it's not silly FQ. If you don't think the expense and efforts that BO has gone to to avoid producing a peice of paper are fishy the it is YOU who are not only silly, but unbelievably naive.
To the best of my knowledge, Obama himself has never actually SAID he was "a natural born Citizen. Would you pay off on a bet on this kind of evidence ?

Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.
I don't feel that we should accept a man as the President of the United States, if he's going to claim to be anything other than American. Also, did he lie to get his scholarship? Did your colleagues lie? This doesn't sound right.

I'd imagine that there are probably different scholarships offered. The story, which may be incorrect, states that this particular scholarship's qualification was that the student must claim foreign citizenship. It also said that he claimed to be a foreign student from Indonesia. Maybe he's just never really known where he was from. ;)

Silly Rabbitt......I claim neither to be correct NOR incorrect. I misspeak, you on the other hand, are a lying bastard. This is why I am a professional and you are a rank amateur. ;D Serously, Fullbright Scholarships are a useful Cold War relic. The idea was to spread Americanism by sending our student's overseas and bringing foreign students here. The theory being that our students would be good will ammbassadors and their's would be exposed to US ideals. There was a program to do the same thing internally for the poor and minorities to fund undergrads to elite schools with the idea of creating talent pools in ghettos and Appalatchia etc. I don't work in financial aid and don't know whether those programs are still there or not. All I do know is, that just like the Ford Foundation, lots of money goes to various programs. Saying Fullbright means nothing. The question is WHICH Fullbright because there are dozens.

Normally no. But, I do credit the the Clinton/Rove slime machines to have drug this stuff out when it would have mattered. Why didn't they? Because there was nothing there. Why do they do it now? To give those who refuse to recognize that the GOP brought this on their own heads through mismanagement an external enemy to fight. Why? Because if they had to honestly ask themselves "where did we screw up?", some powerful interests might find themselves out of a job. Just sayin'.
