Title: Michael... Battle of the polymer 9mm
Post by: PSIShapiro on October 26, 2007, 08:02:52 AM
Michael,

Thanks for your coverage on the release of the SR9.  You began drawing comparisons and I was waiting for a "I like this more than that" type statement.  I would like to hear from anyone who can now bring your thoughts of the SR9 into the discsussion as to who's got the best polymer 9mm and why do you think so?  The one's I am looking at are the Glock, M&P, XD , and now the SR9.  If you have another one you would feel should be considered, mention it.  I am looking to pick one up, primarily for low cost shooting.  M1911A1 will be my primary self defense sidearm partnered with my Remington 870.  I look forward to your comments.

I own a Ruger P97, though a bit big for my hand, this eats everything and will likely survive a fall from a airplane or being run over by a car.  :D

For light carry I have a Kahr P9.
