Title: Just in case I'm not on Comrade President's watchlist yet
Post by: Dakotaranger on August 07, 2009, 12:26:27 AM
OPPOSE ANY GOVERNMENT HEALTH CARE. Since I barely trust the Almighty for my security, safety, and health and since the Almighty is capable of doing EVERYTHING, I sure am not going to trust some close-to-the-fort politician that I could get to milk a BULL.

When I was growing up in South Dakota I went with my Dad to see a friend at Fort Mead VA hospital. I was disgusted at the conditions at the hospital. Then there was an article back in February about health care on Indian Reservations being bad to poor. IF the government can't take care of what we are required to under treaty or moral obligation, we don't want it. Last week the chairmen of the House Committee in charge of this socialist bill said that congressmen wouldn't be forced to take part in the 'public plan.' I have an idea, IF they really want us to become slaves to the state and since VA hospitals are so pitiful, congressional health care should be provided either on the Reservations or at the VA's. This would guarantee that our veterans would be well taken care of, or members of Congress would get what they TRULY deserve. IF members of Congress won't be partaking part of the enslavement of the populace program, we DO NOT want this.

Socialized medicine has failed EVERYWHERE. The reason we have foreigners come here to get treated is because we have the best system, and that is because of the profit motive, socialism kills motive.

Not only do I not want this I am speaking out against this, the fascist technique of asking people to snitch on those opposed to this plan is forcing me to stand up AGAIN for the 1st Amendment. It should have been clear that Comrade President hates the Constitution with his 'bitter' comments, but he keeps proving it over and over again. I remember during the Iraq War we were told that dissent was the highest form of Patriotism...well, millions of Americans are dissenting and we are what? going to be rounded up? Going to GitMo?

Come on now, Dakota.   Who put you up to that?  Some be evil, for-profit, insurance company?  Maybe some fat cat doctors group, huh.  HUH! You must be part of the Astroturf movement.    ;D

Well said.  Did you send that to any newspapers?   It would make a swell opinion piece.  Don't mind if I paraphrase from it do you?

Also, a health care terrorist.

Any time you have an opportunity to ask - face to face - any of the Congress critters, ask them just one question:

Will you add a clause or amendment to the bho-care, or sponsor such an amendment, AND vote for it, to ensure that all Federal employees, including Congress, the Executive and Legislative branches, all are on the same gummint health plan as the American people with no conditions, no exclusions, no special conditions, no perks? Yes or no?

My Senators don't even respond to my e-mails.  I pretty much expected that from Harkin, but it surprised me from Grassley.  I always thought he was a stand-up guy, even if I haven't always agreed with him.

My Congressman, Steve King, on the other hand, responds to my e-mails within 24 hours, and has a letter in my snail mail box within a week.

How the hell do we get the people who are SUPPOSED to represent us to actually LISTEN to us?!?  I'm so frustrated that I can barely put it into words!

Instead of yellin' and shoutin', how about pressing your
Representative for the following commitment: you will not vote for any
final health care bill until its been published on-line and available
to the public for debate (and for you to read!) for at least one
month. I'd love to see a Congressman try to explain to his
constituents why having time for public debate is a bad idea.

To hell with Barry O. and his corrupt socialist cronies. I look forward to the day we hang these traitors slow so they strangle.

Regarding the possibility that you might not be on the Comrade Presidents watchlist.................................Might I quote Aerosmith: "Dream on."

Had to go searching for Pathfinder to copy so I'd get the quote correct ...

Feeling lonely, like no one ever thinks about you or cares?  Feel like no one ever comes to visit or ask your opinion anymore?

Start signing all correspondence to your leaders with the following quote ...

"I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do this to others and I require the same from them"

J.B. Books

And, I'll guarantee a long personal visit from your local Secret Service  ;D

By the way, is this watch list the new waiting list for getting into the corner ... Love the new brass poles guys!

Actually, mabe we should report each other and ourselves and as many things as possible.  Think about it, not only would it send a message, but it would probably overwhelm the flag@whitehouse.gov system.  I'm serious about this.  Can't remember the line from Alice's Resteraunt, but if enough people did it you could call it a movement.  The a$$hats in DC might not be willing to climb down from their porcelain thrones to understand and accept the message that people are tired of this government crap and hypocrisy.  This could show them that it is a grass roots movement.    Screw em, I'm pretty sure on some lists anyway.

Dear Friend,

Anyone that's watched the news in the past few days knows that health insurance reform is a hot topic — and that rumors and scare tactics have only increased as more people engage with the issue. Given a lot of the outrageous claims floating around, it’s time to make sure everyone knows the facts about the security and stability you get with health insurance reform.

That’s why we’ve launched a new online resource — WhiteHouse.gov/RealityCheck — to help you separate fact from fiction and share the truth about health insurance reform. Here's a few of the reality check videos you can find on the site:

    * CEA Chair Christina Romer details how health insurance reform will impact small businesses.
    * Domestic Policy Council Director Melody Barnes tackles a nasty rumor about euthanasia and clearly describes how reform helps families.
    * Matt Flavin, the White House's Director of Veterans and Wounded Warrior Policy, clears the air about Veteran's benefits.
    * Kavita Patel, M.D., a doctor serving in the White House's Office of Public Engagement, explains that health care rationing is happening right now and how reform gives control back to patients and doctors.
    * Bob Kocher, M.D., a doctor serving on the National Economic Council, debunks the myth that health insurance reform will be financed by cutting Medicare benefits.

There's more information and a number of online tools you can use to spread the truth among your family, friends and other social networks. Take a look:

Health Insurance Reform Reality Check

We knew going into this effort that accomplishing comprehensive health insurance reform wasn't going to be easy. Achieving real change never is. The entrenched interests that benefit from the status quo always use their influence in Washington to try and keep things just as they are.

But don't be misled. We know the status quo is unsustainable. If we do nothing, millions more Americans will be denied insurance because of pre-existing conditions, or see their coverage suddenly dropped if they become seriously ill. Out-of-pocket expenses will continue to soar, and more and more families and businesses will be forced to deal with health insurance costs they can’t afford.

That's the reality.

Americans deserve better. You deserve a health care system that works as well for you as it does for the status quo; one you can depend on — that won't deny you coverage when you need it most or charge you crippling out-of-pocket co-pays. Health insurance reform means guaranteeing the health care security and stability you deserve.

President Barack Obama promised he'd bring change to Washington and fix our broken, unsustainable health insurance system. You can help deliver that change. Visit WhiteHouse.gov/RealityCheck, get the facts and spread the truth. The stakes are just too high to do nothing.

Thank you,
David

Here's my reply. If I wasn't on the Presidential sh!tlist before, I am now  ;D

If "Nationalized health care is so great why are Senators and Congressmen exempted ? Listen to the people who pay your wages, we do not want the same health care that has failed in Canada, England, and Massachusetts. In the 70's the IRS seized the Mustang Ranch in Nevada, after running it at a loss they auctioned it off, also at a loss. You want a health care plan run by people who LOST money on a whore house ? Are you stupid ?
We are sick of your lies and your socialist agenda, you better get it through your head that you work for us, not the other way around.
