Title: The sheeple are catching on
Post by: tombogan03884 on August 11, 2009, 10:47:56 AM
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/august_2009/45_rate_obama_good_or_excellent_as_a_leader_down_19_points_from_january

Forty-five percent (45%) of U.S. voters now give President Obama good or excellent marks on leadership, down three points from last month and down 19 points from when he took office in January, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.

Nearly one-third of voters (32%) see Obama as a poor leader, down two points from July. The percentage of voters who give the president a poor rating on leadership is double the level it was the week after his inauguration.

Slightly more women (48%) than men (44%) give the president positive marks on leadership.

Eighty-two percent (82%) of Democrats say the president is doing a good or excellent job, but 57% of Republicans rate his performance as poor. Voters not affiliated with either party are much more closely divided: 39% say good or excellent, while 35% say poor.(Want a free daily e-mail update? If it's in the news, it's in our polls). Rasmussen Reports updates are also available on Twitter or Facebook.

The new leadership findings come as Congress recesses until September, and the president and members of his party aggressively lobby for passage of major health care reform legislation in the fall.

Nearly one-in-four voters (24%) now view the president’s leadership style as too confrontational, nearly double the result found in July and the highest level measured since he took office. But 26% see the president as too cooperative, down 11 points from last month.

Still, the plurality (40%) view the president’s leadership style as about right. But that’s down 20 points from the end of January.

GOP voters are fairly evenly divided on the president’s leadership style, with 38% who say he is too confrontational and 39% who say he is too cooperative. Seventy-one percent (71%) of Democrats say his style of leadership is about right. Among unaffiliated voters, 25% say too confrontational, 28% say too cooperative, and 33% say about right.

The plurality of voters (39%) continues to see Obama as more ethical than most politicians, up one point from last month. Thirty-one percent (31%) see the president as less ethical, down one point from July. Just over a quarter of voters (26%) think the president is about as ethical as most politicians.

Forty-nine percent (49%) give Obama good or excellent ratings on handling government ethics and corruption, up four points over the past month. However, 35% give the president a poor rating, the highest level measured since he took office.

In July, over half of voters (53%) viewed the president as a partisan Democrat, the highest level measured since he took office. Fifty-five percent (55%) believe politics in Washington will grow more partisan over the next year.

Recent polling shows 71% of U.S. voters say Obama’s policies have increased the size of the federal deficit, while only five percent (5%) says they have cut the deficit.

Forty-three percent (43%) of voters give Obama a poor rating on his handling of economic issues, also the highest level measured since he took office.

The sheep have finally figured out that they are going to get fleeced even worse. change for the worse.
Sub has returned to same heading sir.  After turning right twice, it is now heading far left back to same heading.
All these events have now changed from generating fear to generating survival instincts and anger and resolve.

Being called "UnAmerican"," Nazi's", "racists", and "astroturf corprate stooges" for speaking their minds may have something to do with it.

You mess with the U.S., you mess with the whole trailer park bub, All  my friends are wise to this game.
You die standing up, or you die on your knees.  Sheriffs need to uphold their jobs and not fold to FED  money.

At this rate, by the mid term elections, congressional approval is barely over single digits, if BHO follows suit, 2010 should provide something. Although, the alternative could be just as bad...

If it involves more RINO's, or turncoat career bastards. The result will be no better. The "sheeple" can vote the likes of Reid, Specter, and all the others that have gotten too comfortable, the hell OUT.

Real hope and change comes from US; the citizenry, aka the "Real Militia".

It's not just the money - many of the people within PDs and Sheriff Depts. have already been sworn in as Special Deputy US Marshalls. The bomb squad guys for one. I wouldn't be surprised to find out the SWAT people too. So when the Fed calls, they must go - or resign if they are allowed to.

But we're trying to work on that.

Path, I've never heard of this before. That's a very scary prospect. How widespread is this process?

It sounds like federalization of local PDs and Sheriff Depts.

The bomb squad leader here told me that personally. They were called up for the Pubbie convention in Minneapolis working for the Feds. I forgot to ask the SWAT leader when I had the chance.

Why do you think the Feds have been so heavily involved in the local PDs for so long, providing "surplus" military arms, training opportunities, stuff like Katrina and Greensburg, etc.?

I wonder how it feels to be sworn in on an oath and report to liars and thieves who have no honor and who honor no oath but that of self-allegiance.  The oath is ultimately to the people and it's time for our law enforcement to stop listening to the lawyers and start hauling in the lying, thieving politicians...the laws are there, use them against the criminals, not the people.

Very, very unsettling.

Thanks Path.

Just ran across this:

“This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, and it may be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.”

– Frederick Douglass
