Title: Not dead yet!
Post by: Frisco on August 12, 2009, 08:38:02 PM: Hey all...it was another trip to the hospital, and another few pounds of infected tissue removed. I forced them to let me stay until the incision was fully healed this time.

They are now in LAWSUIT AVOIDANCE mode.

Thanks for all the messages and GET WELL's.

I actually got to start to finish holsters today! So you will be gettin them SOON. I figure they will all be done by Monday, and shipped by Tue or Wed of next week, as long as they are fully molded and properly dried. They are all cut, and marked for stitching.

I am feeling better, and can actually sit up for a spell now.

So....life is good.

The worst thing was....NO CUTE NURSES!

Great to have you back here, Frisco, we have been worried - and praying.

All my nurses were guys - except the one who woke me up at 4:30 AM to weigh me. I am not kidding. She woke up a heart patient at 4:30 AM to freaking weigh me! >:(

I'm not suggesting medical advice, but a friend of mine had a drag line turn over and crush his legs...the doctor said he had to amputate and my friend, not too long back from Vietnam told him he would rather die than lose his legs and if he woke up without them...well, the doctor would. So, he had horrible infections for some time and, this is not medical advice, they cleaned his deep infected wounds with a weak bleach solution...he said it hurt really bad and the scars were terrible and it was too the bone. But he has his legs today.

He felt good for a couple of days and then started with sweats and fever. He wanted me to let everyone know he is trying to get better and finish the holsters.
