This from a NY Times interview of Dear Leader back in April 2009. Obama had been discussing the story of his grandmother, who was terminally ill with cancer when she had an expensive hip replacement procedure so that she would not be bed-ridden for the last three to nine months of her life:

THE PRESIDENT: So that’s where I think you just get into some very difficult moral issues. But that’s also a huge driver of cost, right? I mean, the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here.
LEONHARDT: So how do you — how do we deal with it?
THE PRESIDENT: Well, I think that there is going to have to be a conversation that is guided by doctors, scientists, ethicists. And then there is going to have to be a very difficult democratic conversation that takes place. It is very difficult to imagine the country making those decisions just through the normal political channels. And that’s part of why you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance. It’s not determinative, but I think has to be able to give you some guidance. And that’s part of what I suspect you’ll see emerging out of the various health care conversations that are taking place on the Hill right now.

A lot of people have a real problem calling something what it is. Obama is a prime example. He does describe in detail what the process will be so read between the lines.
"It is very difficult to imagine the country making those decisions just through the normal political channels." – So I’m going to have a group of czars who are accountable only to the executive branch do it.
Waddle, waddle. You know like a death panel.
"And that’s part of why you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance." – Because all you bleeding hearts would want the government to pay for everything and you know we can’t do that.
Splash, splash, swim, swim. You know like rationing.
"It’s not determinative, but I think has to be able to give you some guidance." – This guidance would be something Doctors would have to follow in order to get paid."
Quack, quack. You know like a regulation.
"And that’s part of what I suspect you’ll see emerging out of the various health care conversations that are taking place on the Hill right now."
Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack! Shut up and sit down! I have already decided this is how it will be.
James Whitcomb Riley was the one who said, "when I see a bird that walks like a duck and swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, I call that bird a duck."

Didn't Jack Kevorkian go to prison for this shit ?
Jack Kevorkian wasn't Supreme Leader. And he never used a teleprompter that I can recall. But mostly, he was just crazier than shithouse rat, he wasn't a socialist rat like the post turtle in chief.
