So yesterday, my fathers house was broke into and took his entire gun safe, the guy across the street got a plate number thankfully. We can get values of all guns, expect one.
Its a AP-22 we don't know the make( or maybe just the importer) its a 22 that looks like a M-16( yes the og m 16, not a modern AR) He got it about 40 years ago. Gunbroker and the like is coming up empty...
Thanks.

This might be it or close to it. The listing is closed and I think you may have to register to see images. It might at least help you mind information on it and the value.

I think that if you are having a hard time, then your insurance company would have an equally hard time proving you wrong..... I say, swing for the fences and claim big $$$

yep, I think the box has only been opened about 5 times, 2 of those were at the FFL.

There is a nylon 66 forum on yahoo that may help you with prices and maybe even a replacement.

To bad you and he aren't NRA members, their insurance would have covered $5000 of it, for FREE.
-

I have a policy written for just my guns.

Hate to hear the bad news, TAB.
How did they go about getting the safe out?
Was it bolted down?
Hope others can learn from this bad experience.

I've not been there yet, it was a cheap safe, and it was in a garage full of tools.
