Between career politicians, RINO's, otherwise useless wastes of our oxygen, perhaps AZ has got it right with this one.

Left handed! +10! One point of concern is that I dislike military service being used as a denotation of party affiliation. Gore, Kerry, Bush, and McCain all volunteered. Very different policy positions. I don't like the idea of "If you served you must be a conservative". Its demeaning to our troops who did not sign up to be campaign posters. Tom and I took the same oath at the same age. Was one of us lying? I don't like this type of politics.

If you look at his website it is simply another item in his resume, as my service is on mine. I realize that Marines in office tend to scare the more liberal, but to the rest of us the fact that he led troops in combat at a young age means all of a lot more than being on the debating society.

Its not military service as much as the anti RINO stance that he is embracing that has me sold.
