Title: Talkin' with the Pres to get health care reform
Post by: Dakotaranger on August 20, 2009, 04:39:09 AM
I just received this from the White House.  I haven't decided if I'm going to sign up to throw in my ten cents, but it could be fun if some here actually did.

Reminder: The President and Organizing for America are holding a National Health Care Forum TODAY, and you're invited to be a part of it.

The forum begins at 2:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. CT/12:30 p.m. MT/11:30 a.m. PT and should last approximately 90 minutes.

Sign up now to participate:

This is an incredible opportunity to huddle with the President, ask questions, and discuss how we're going to pass real health insurance reform this year.

Talk to you very soon,

Mitch

It says on the sign up page that "If your question is picked you will only be identified by first name and city"
Funny part is they don't ask for your City, only your zip code.
I submitted my question but I don't think it will get picked. What do you think ?

Their are many complaints about the VA, Medicare/ Medicaid, and the Indian Health service on Reservations is an abomination.
In view of this, the mismanagement of "Cash for Clunkers" and the fact that the Government lost money running the Mustang Ranch, how can you tell us that government oversight of the rest of the health care industry will be a good thing for us ?
Perhaps I should ask, how can you tell us that with a straight face.

My question was:

Which do you believe is the best system for the distribution of scarce goods and resources, free market or a central planning committee?

We know his HONEST answer to that.
All for me and none for you.  >:(
