For now, thank God, its Hurricane Bill to Canda. Take that you Hosers (and hide your daughters)! ;D Sorry to all Canucks but we just dodged two bullets this week. Besides they winter in Fl. then go home to the great white north in the summer. Well, as a Fl. native, we got somep'tin for ya.  ;D
FQ13 who is going straight to hell and prays Bill stays offshore

Personally I'll laugh like hell if Quebec gets "Katrina'd". Those arrogant frog bastards come down here for their summer vacation and do 2 things, bitch because we don't speak french, and bad mouth America.
My answer is "if America is so terrible then you should stay the f%$k home".
They understand THAT well enough  ;D

We don't need no stinkin' Storms here.

Can't afford the time off, and if they all sweep north, that's fine with me.

Supposed to see 10' waves at the beach tommarow...  I'll try to get pictures (of tourists being washed out to sea  ;D)

THIS WILL BE YOUR MYRTLE BEACH VACATION SCHEDULE:

Saturday / Sunday -  BAD TRAFFIC!  Takes an hour to get half a mile in any direction!  Snow birds flocking in AND out, jam up roads and stores, walking around pale as Zombies, Buying "snacks & supplies for the week".
Monday -  Pale zombies heard to the beach.  Never really needed sunblock before.  So either dont apply it right, dont know sun block washes off, or are actually so dumb they dont apply it all!
Monday night - The entertainment for locals begins!  ;D  ALL stores PACKED with glowing red idiots looking for aloe lotion.  No less than 2 out of 3 are as red as their "I vacationed at Myrtle Beach" T-shirts, and visors.
Tuesday - Ghost town!  Snow birds all laying in hotel to sore and burnt up to leave bed.  Why ALL local businesses have "Tuesday specials".
Wednesday - Streets still dead until noon.  Snow birds have slatherd up with 2 bottles of lotion, are now afraid of the beach from sun burns, and having watched JAWS while bed ridden in their hotel's, so they all hit the Outlet stores.
Thursday & Friday Unable to think clearly from burn pain.  Mish mash of all preceeding activities...  No real organization anymore at all.  Just tired of the sun burn pain, hearing the wifey bitching, and trying to figure out where that last $500 dollars went?  Yes.  The cute, trinkety, JUNK you bought cost that much!
Saturday / Sunday - Head for home Snow birds!  Clog roads solid with traffic again.  Everyone in car thinking. "We'll just stay home next year."  And, "How do I explain all this to my friends without them laughing their @#@'s off at me?" >:(

twyacht,  WHERE in Conway!?!?!?!  I cant find a good outdoor range for the life of me!

Range???,...Well,... it wasn't really a range,...it was the south end of Lake Busbee, in the sticks,...

I know toward Charleston in Georgetown there are outdoor ranges, plus a big one in Whiteville, NC. that are public..

Unfortunately, SC's most outdoor ranges are private, unless you know someone with land on private property.  Or know a member that can take a guest...

Thanks for the info..  That's what I've found so far to.  BUNCHES of private land thats perfect to set up a shooting bench and targets on, and enough achorage that you can make shots over 1,000 yards.  Still trying to track down the owners of these places to get permission...

Probably ought to start looking into "clubs" too.

I have found deer tracks, squirrel, PLENTY of rabbit.  So the game is there!   ;)
