Title: Ruger 96/44 lever action magazines

I am in the process of purchasing a Ruger 96/44 lever action carbine.  I have been looking for one for a while and just came across a used one at a local gun store.  The factory magazines only hold 4 rounds, and I figure some one has to make an after market magazine for these along the lines of the stick mags for the 10/22. 

I recently came across two videos on Youtube that were posted in 2007 with a man displaying and testing a 9 round stick mag for the 96/44.  He did not mention where one could get the magazines. 

Does anyone know anything about these magazines and were I can get them, or something similar?

Also, if anyone has any comments or suggestions on good ammo for this particular gun or ones to stay away from, please let me know.
