Gresham's headline, caps and all. From the press release - bold is mine, not Gresham's:
"Finally! Whew! I knew it was coming, but it sure took a long time
to get here.
Our new television series, Guns & Gear, is now airing on Versus. (That's the network which carries that strange bicycle race in France.) Set your recorders! Tuesdays at 3:00pm, Wednesdays at 8:30am, and Thursdays at 8:30am (Eastern times). Versus is available on most cable systems and on Direct TV channel 603 and DISH Network channel 151.
We show handguns that are blown up to 12-feet tall and show the small important parts on these guns, through the "magic" of green screens. You'll see gun makers talking about their new products, learn the inside story on optics, and see stuff being blown up at the range. Yeah, we had a lot of fun doing this one.
Backstory: You may remember that this was scheduled for the Fox
Sports network. Well, things sometimes work out for the best. Fox
got cold feet when they saw a show with handguns and AR-15s. Versus stepped up and welcomed us with open arms, it's a bigger network with over 77 million TV households, so, we got an upgrade. You can't beat that deal.
You can watch most of the segments from the show on www.gunsandgeartv.com. We'll be adding video to the Guns & Gear site, so you can watch the shows you may have missed and get more information about the products you saw on the show.
Of course, if you are following me on Twitter, you already know much of this. If you are not yet doing the Twitter thing, just go to www.twitter.com/guntalk and sign up to "follow" me. I'll send out very short (140 characters, max) messages with news about guns, gun companies, shooters, gun rights, and what we are up to at Gun Talk.
Hope you enjoy the show. Let me know what you think.
Tom"

very cool show,
Not to mention the price of the US magazines, some which cost 7.95 US are like 20.00AUS here, I am sorry but our $ difference is not that #%^$#ing bad.

While I enjoy watching all gun shows, this one feels different to me. It feels more like an infomerical than a magazine show. Is there's an ad (sponsor) for every product featured?
Maybe it's that I don't feel they're giving me any INFORMATION. If you do an outdoor shooting test of a gun, can we see the results? How heavy, how many shots, how long, MSRP, etc.
But I'm still watching it.

I agree with overload to a point. It would be nice to have more information, but I liked the basic level it is presented at. They explained everything at a level that those brand new to guns and shooting could understand and learn from. Today they talked about cartridge and bullet ... Maybe sometime during the first season we could get a guest shot of Haz explaining clip and magazine ;)
While there could be some fine tuning, I like it!

I watched it the other day, and didnt really think it was that great.... Like already said, it seems too commercial (hehe ;) ). The production value was not really that great either, and I found the hosts kinda cheesy.

I. FREAKIN'. MISSED. IT!!!!!! >:(
-
give them feed back then
just make sure that it is polite ;D from my understanding Tom is the sort of bloke that listens to what people are saying and I am sure would appreciate it.
remember if they don't here about it then how are they able to improve on it
I am sure it will come together given time,

That is exactly right!
