Title: Toothpaste action job question
Post by: Walter45Auto on August 29, 2009, 06:37:16 PM
I was watching Cowboys recently, and one of the big name competitors (A younger guy looked in his 20's. I forget who.) said the only custom work he did on his single actions was a Toothpaste action job. I was wondering What would be the best way to clean the gunk out of the action after the action was smoothed out to your liking??

I use a Sonicare to clean my guns. Scrubs em good.

Toothpaste has the same grit as a Flitz, but is easier to remove when done...

But there will be not one cavity ever present.... ::)

Wouldn't hot water melt it?

Normal cleaning should get rid of toothpaste.
