It amazes me how this guy and others just don't get it. They almost always assume that gun owners are crazed killers or that we like to kill things. They don't seem to understand the responcibility that goes along with owning firearms. Yes there are wackos out there but they are everywhere. I went to the grocery store and you know Tim Mc Veigh and David Koresh liked to go the grocery store too. Give me a break.

The socialists in the Bay Area, specifically San Francisco, have been spouting this BS since the 90's. In that time, despite police stings and increased surveillance, do you know how many illegal firearms transactions have been witnessed with in 2 miles of the gun show ?

The guy is a bone head, but an honesst one. He accurately described the people as being friendly and it being about the safest place on earth. He noticed (fairly) that there were some racially innappropriate things there (BUT NO HATE LITERTURE, its not like the KKK was recruiting, because HELLO owning a gun doesn't make you a racist and the guy seemed to reluctantly be beggining to get that) The fact is that someone who wasn't an anti-gun yahoo, but just neutral, would be pleased with what they saw. Even this guy seemed to like the revolvers a little more than he admits. As a former Hoosier, I think the folks at the Indiana Gun and Knife Show did us proud.

The guys article is so full of innuendo, bias and hyperbole it's impossible to find even one fact to support his stance.
After being told about his inaccurate stance that a gun show frees you from background checks he sites the Brady Bunch as a 'credible' source and stands by his assertion! The guy has an agenda and facts will not dissuade him.

In other words, a typical anti-2A person.

And now there you go....tellin' the truth again.............

Can't let a little thing like the truth stand in the way of the "reported facts" of the lamebrain media.

Nice anti slant, the ATF quote regarding how much easier to get a gun at a show than in Mexico is B.S., as well as pocket sized assault weapons,,,
Guns bought from dealers that sell at gun shows are more likely to be used in violent crimes than guns from other dealers, according to earlier research by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Mexican drug cartels buy most of their guns in the United States, because it is easier than buying in Mexico, Wintemute

What Brady stat did he pull that out of his ass with?
I keep looking but can't find one.. :-\
"California is a good example of the fact that you can regulate gun commerce "... without putting (gun shows) out of business," Wintemute said.
Kalifornia isn't a "good" example of anything....
Right up there with the 60 minutes segment about this earlier this year...
Need to get that neo-confederate manual on improvised booby traps though,.... ::)

He was probably referring to guns like the one I have in my pocket right this minute. Remember, to the anti's semi-auto=assault weapon.

And here I thought you were just happy to see us. ;D Seriously the only reason I own the world's only $1500 Glock is that the left did make that assumption. The orginal Brady Bill was supposed to do away with semi-auto handguns along with "assault" weapons. I was dumb enough to think theyd get it passed and made a VERY unwise trade to get a Glock while I "still could". >:(

"Hence, armed with only a lie,..."
An excerpt from his article above. An avowed liar by his own admission.
How in any manner of truth and/or logic could that guy be associated with the word "honest"?
Honesty is like being pregnant...either you are or are not.
If one is not honest all of the time, then they can be counted on lying to their advantage when their pathology finds it necessary. The hallmark of a good liar, fooling people into thinking they are honest all the time, so they can lie to their advantage some of the time. Ergo, one cannot be considered honest if not honest all of the time. There is no such thing as a white lie....all lies are "black".

It's like telling your non cooking Aunt, "Oh that was delicious", and she feed's you the same disgusting crap every time you visit because "You like it". ::)

This is excellent. Fine job sir. Unfortunately there are too many in today's society that do not understand this.
