Had kind of a whirl wind week, with a few gun purchases, I thought you all might like to hear about.
1) I finally got the dinero to purchase another M40 A3 that a friend of mine built for his wife, but unfortunately, she decided she did not want to be married any more. It's specs are the same as any m40 except with a 24" Krieger tapered, fluted barrel. Leupold 4.5x14 MK4 LRT scope. Very nice, pics to follow.
2) A Daisy VL rifle ( caseless ammo ) with 3600 rounds of ammo, do any of you have one of these and have you shot it very much? I've put only about 10 rounds through it. But am taking it to the range to really check it out.
3) A colt agent ( alloy frame detective special ) that has been home hybrid comped. Well worn. But it reminds me of my recently deceased friend, it is his and my kind of revolver.
4) 2- 32 ACP'S A Beretta Tomcat and a North American Arms Guardian, I did not know both were coming my way or I may have not gone for the Tomcat, OK though.
I won't bore you with the rest, but really a whirlwind for 6 days.

Here's my new toys...purchased over the last week
#1 -- CMP "Special" Garand -- these are the limited 1000 gun run that the CMP just released...mine is a 1.5M ('42 manf) SA refinished receiver, all SA parts, new barrel, new stock, Turner Saddlery sling -- now I know what the rifles coming off the line in WWII looked like

BEAUTIFUL, KPR, are you going to put it into service??

Honestly, I hadn't considered NOT shooting it...until you mentioned it.
Then again, I can't imagine owning a gun (at least the guns I can afford) and not shooting it. No safe queens in my house.
So I guess the answer is yes.
