Here is some of the 1st day.... a lot of fun.

Cool shooting.   I envision, along with my XD9 adding an XD40 and 45 some day.

Give us some particulars.   10yds?  Slow fire?  Rapid fire?

Thanks. This was the initial "walk" out of the box after a good first cleaning.

The target is a NRA small bore 25 yard "slow" fire target modified with an orange stick on.

Targets ordered from top down.

1) 8 yards; iso ; slow

2) 10 yards; iso ; slow

3) 8 yards; iso; slow

The Ammo was a mixture:
50 rnds PMC Bronze 230 gr FMJ
50 rnds Wolf 230 gr FMJ

Nice porn and range report. I had no dought the XD would not let you down, here is a pic of my last range trip with my XD at 15 yards. I call it the get the f out of my house drill.

I have an XD 45 as my primary carry gun. It is great and I love it reliable, accurate and mine shoots everything I feed it. Great choice. Been thinking about trading in my Ruger P-95 on an XD compact in 9 mm, but I haven't been able to do it because I like the Ruger so much.
