Things Congress should be required to do today: READ the Constitution since it's clear none of them have actually read the Document that made us a Nation.

Actually that's not a bad idea. A friend of mine in grad school had a great idea that I followed in all my intro to American Politics classes. He got a small paper back pocket sized version of the Constitution from the SAR and gave them out. Every Friday, he (and I, after I learned what he was doing) had an open book pop quiz on the Constitution with a ten minute time limit. The point of the excersize was,of course to make them read the thing, not evaluate mastery. It is however, the most important lesson I ever teach in any class. And quite frankly, I am proud of the fact that my students can tell you what the 16th ammendment did, why Arnie can't be president and which ammendment the words "shall not be infringed" attach to. I do earn my money some days.

I'll leave the question of whether [1]President Obama's decision to
abandon a planned missile defense of Poland and the Czech Republic is
good or bad policy. As a matter of timing, however, it's surely bad
politics. There's surely a better day to make such an announcement
than the 70th anniversary of [2]Stalin's invasion of Poland.

Wow! That's all I can say, wow. How effing clueless these people are.
I waver sometimes between believing that bho is the anti-Christ come to introduce us to the end of times, or just a clueless moron whose handlers allow him to wreak as much damage through his cluelessness, ineptitude and wrong-headed thinking as he can.
I do believe this is an excellent example of the latter.

A sign that all he cares about is pushing HIS agenda, or the agenda laid out by his puppeteers.
Way back in Jr. High I learned the importance of researching #1 the history of what you are attacking or supporting before doing it; and #2 the importance of looking up "this day in history" before sticking foot in mouth. You can't catch everything or avoid everything, but you can at least temper your statements or form your statements to be sensitive to tender items.
BHO doing this on this day is a slap in the face for everyone that fought for and built this nation. What's next ... an apology to Japan for upsetting them so much that they felt the need to waste money and attack Pearl Harbor? Or, maybe two years from now, on the tenth anniversary of 09/11/2001 he will stand at the sight of the twin towers and apologize for the fight against terrorism.
Not saying that you don't speak out or address issues, but you need to keep everything in context, and this idiot either is ignorant arrogant ... or worse ... BOTH >:(
