Title: SASS NY State Championship shoot

Howdy Y'all, I'll be heading out Friday morning to shoot the SASS NY State championship known as "Heluva Rucus" .If the hotel has wifi I'll report from there.if not then I'll report on Sunday evening.
Wish me luck, I'll need all I can get.

Blackwolfe, I use a pair of .37 3 Screw Blackhawks with 4 &5/8th barrels, a 73 Winchester clone in .357 and a 12 gauge Stoeger Coach gun

Nice toys. If you ever want to trade those Rugers for a Merkel, which I will cut to your specs, above 18", let me know. ;D

Evening Y'all, I just got back from the shoot, The weather was perfect which is more than I can say for my shooting performance. The first day(6 Stages) I couldn't get in a groove and my shooting suffered. I was shooting about 10 seconds slower than my usual and there was a LOT of movement, something that I can't do as fast as I used to. I ended up 13th in my category out of 27 and 93rd out of 225. I did win the .22 pistol side match, so the weekend wasn't a total loss. I'm going to go get some rest and will check back later.

 Top 50%, more than half the Competitors didn't do that well  ;D

Sounds like you still shot pretty good....and congrats on the side match win..... As long as you had fun, you won on a grand scale.

Haz, I used my 1958 Single Six, mY time was 5.91 seconds for 5-4inch plates at 10 yards.
