Title: Benelli MR1
Post by: sanjuancb on September 18, 2009, 01:26:28 PM
I guess Benelli is coming out with a civilian version of the Beretta RX4 Storm. It is a pretty neat looking gun and it takes AR mags.  Supposedly the ARGO system is very reliable. The price is a bit hefty, but Benellis don't exactly have a reputation for being cheap.

Has anybody got a chance to put one through it's paces?

That thing is heavy - almost 8lbs. empty.

Well I guess in comparison to some carbines it might be considered as such, but for a firearm in general...not so much...it could be a 10 lb 2 oz Thompson!

It's like putting chrome wheels on the family station wagon. It may look flashier, but it's still a station wagon.

If you want an AR, buy an AR.
