Well, you can't be pro-2A without being pro-1A without being a flaming hypocrite. Given that this march involves the freedoms of speech, assembly and religion, three fundamenatal rights, it is impossible to condemn it. Yet and still.....there will be an Islamic State of America over my cold dead body. They will impose Sharia the day after I'm dead. March and preach and I support you. Try to imose an alien form of government and we will have issues.
FQ13 who believes in the Constitution, but as Justice Jackson said, "The Constitution is not a suicide pact". Preach all you want and convert who you will (a right not recognized in muslim countries), but try to usurp our Constitution......The Muslims say "you shall not use the faith against the faithful" Well, right back at ya.

Any bets on this? The MSM will cover it and downplay all of the "we're gonna get you" crap, and grossly over-estimate the numbers. Not enough to scare the sheep, just to make it impressive and note it was "peaceful".
Just as they ignored the Tea Bag/Liberty march in DC over Labor Day.

450 Grooms Wed GIRLS Under Ten In Gaza
A gala event has occurred in Gaza.
Hamas sponsored a mass wedding for four hundred and fifty couples. Most of the grooms were in their mid to late twenties; most of brides were under ten.
Muslim dignitaries including Mahmud Zahar, a leader of Hamas, were on hand to congratulate the couples who took part in the carefully staged celebration.
“We are saying to the world and to America that you cannot deny us joy and happiness,” Zahar told the grooms, all of whom were dressed in identical black suits and hailed from the nearby Jabalia refugee camp.
Each groom received a gift of 500 dollars from Hamas.

Tom, not to pick a huge honking nit, but.....they're just a few hispanic (don't know they entered this conversation) and muslim (mostly non-hispanic) citizens ;D. To be more of a jerk, the Bill of Rights is NOT limited to American citizens. It does not GRANT us rights, it recognizes them and prohibits government fom infringing them (as in Congress shall make no law...). Anyone on Amercan soil (with a few exceptons) is covered. This isn't my opinion, its the law and well established in precedent. The Bill of Rights doesn't tell us what we CAN do, as Hamilton feared in Federalist 84, it says what government CAN'T do. Sorry, but Muslim Americans (the 4th largest religion in the US and growing, joy,) are covered just as much as Baptists

I'm not going to argue federalist 84 because it would clash badly with the novel I'm currently reading. I WILL explain how Hispanics aliens got added into my post, I was thinking of the illegals who participated in the "immigration" rallies a while back in the west.

This is exactly what has happened with the 1st Amendments guarantees of free press and speech being expanded to allow Flag burning and pornography as "free expression".

This is exactly what has happened with the 1st Amendments guarantees of free press and speech being expanded to allow Flag burning and pornography as "free expression".
But here you fall into Hamilton's trap. He feared that all that was not specifically permited would be forbiden if there were a bill of rights. He thought that the Constitution itself would say that all that was not forbiden was permitted. Either way, "Congress shall make no law" or given that the body of Articles One, Two and Three conferred no power to regulate "expression" this would mean that flag burning and Penthouse are a go as the government had no enumerated powers whatsoever over the press or expression. You don't have to like it, but you you do have to live with it. That's the price of a free society, which the conservative muslims hate (trying to stay sorta on topic). You have to tolerate things you don't like under the condition that your opponents do the same. Live and let live. You can burn a flag in DC and I thik your right to do so is a good thing. You hate this country? Fine, you've made your point now go home before mom calls you in for supper.Try burning a Koran in Riyadh and your life expectancy will be measured in seconds. That's what separates us from them. We tolerate dissent and place limits on the state. They think the state is (or should be) the religion under Sharia and there are no limits as they are doing "Gods" work and dissent is blasphemy (cf the Iranian election protestors). Which is why, theology aside, there will be Sharia in the US the day after I'm dead.

At the risk of seeming un PC, I'll burn one wherever you want. I have little use for that religion. Good folks, just a very oppressive and violent faith. Allah ain't God and Muhamed ain't a prophet. Rushdie had it right.
