Just channel surfing and stopped when I saw a picture of a revolver. MSNBC aparently has a show called the "ED show" on which the anchor for the show, and a "former head of a major city police department" claimed. "With the more Americans that own guns the higher crime rates will always be." BUT, one thing of interest they muttered was that nine BILLION rounds of ammunition were sold in this country last year. And TWO BILLION MORE than that have already sold this year! :o
At first I thought. WHEW HOO!!! Good for all those people! Then bad news is that the conversation immediatly swung to "So we are meeting tommarow to talk to Governor Swartzenager about raising tax's on that stuff! And Obama's already ironing out the details on his plans" :'(

Then how come the FBI claims that crime rates have been FALLING as more states have adopted CC and gun sales have boomed ?
OOPS, I forgot, those are facts that don't fit the Liberal narrative.

Florida crime stats came out today, violent crime is down almost 20%.
Property and non violent crime are slightly increased.
Based on the frequency of SD events, with the wounding or death of the BG, it's good to see facts that just drive the Brady Bunch crazy..

Bank on the fact the way Hussein is going, he will lead the democratic train down the roughest tracks. I've never seen a President as self destructive politically as this guy is. I hate to do this, I REALLY REALLY hate to do this. But I have to point out that New Orleans would tend to be evidence to support TAB.
While La. as a whole has fairly nonrestrictive gun laws it's the demographics and history of corruption among citizens, law enforcement, and politicians, that make N.O. one of America's most dangerous cities.

I'll just inject a bit of common sense here. Arms makers here in the United States produce and sell hundreds of thousands, if not MILLIONS of guns in this country every year. Add into the equation all of the foreign manufacturers, AK-47 kits assembled and sold here by Century Arms, and many others too numerous to list, and we are talking millions of guns purchased here every year, along with 9 BILLION ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION to feed them all. I'll go way out on a limb here and say if the amount of guns in society was in ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM proportionate to the crime rate, today we would have a crime rate that would make Big Al Capone's boy's look like school children! People who try and relate guns to crime by numbers generally fall into the Rosie O'Donnell category of the, "Fire can't melt steel", and, "We faked the Moon landing", whining, liberal Hollywood, short dick crowd.
