Title: Prayer For The Kid.

A Member and DRTV Ranger, Kid Shelleen (Dave), could use some prayers sent his way for a quick recovery. He has always been the "calm one" who posts in the midst of even a heated debate here on the forum.

He is a good man and I hope our prayers get him back here soon.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, we turn to You in this time of our friends illness. 0 dearest Comforter of the Troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us.

Amen.

twyacht, I can't find exactly how I feel about the prayer you posted for the Kid...nice interesting profound...nothing seems to fit.  I'll just say thanks and add mine to the list.

It was mentioned in another thread that he is having problems with his chronic medical issues acting up and is down for the moment.

Comes to about a 24 to 36 hour turnaround since the start of the prayer thread for Kid to post an update.

Hmmmmm. Coincidence??? :o
