Howdy to all of my DRTV Friends and Family. My brother-in-law (Johnny Bravo) told me about all of your kindness and concern. He told me to get my tail in gear and to get on the site, so here I am.

Things have been a little tough lately, I won’t bore all of you with the details. I am dealing with multiple autoimmune disorders. I have a multitude of illnesses that have been flaring up and causing some heavy-duty pain and some other problems, but I’m still alive and kickin’. I have four, very talented, doctors working together to get me back on top of things. They are coordinating their treatments, their prescribed medications, and their efforts to get me up and running.

I really appreciate all of the support from my DRTV family and I hope to be back visiting with all of my DRTV friends in short order. I’m hanging in there and I’m still very blessed. There are many folks dealing with much more severe troubles than I am (many in our DRTV Family). I’m blessed with a wonderful, healthy, wife; happy, healthy, kids and lots of other great family (like JB). I also really appreciate all of my great friends, at DRTV and here in Texas.

I’m not improving yet, but with my awesome medical team, it’s just a matter of time. Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts and especially for the prayers. With that kind of support, a fella can’t be down for long.

I’ll be back soon and I expect ya’ll to have all of the problems in D.C. fixed and the mess cleaned up (I’m counting on you Tom). ;D

Nice to hear from you Kid!

Take care of yourself first, and make sure Johnny keeps us in the loop when needed.

With him informing us, I'll just figure that no news is good news ... or as good as can be.

Sorry that you're down, Kid......it's danged good to hear from you....keep up the spirits and fight a good fight so you can get back to posting your great comments.

You are one heck of a man.  You impress me with your spirit.  I am proud to be able to call  you friend.

I will keep you in my prayers.
