I like the ACE m4 sopmod, hell for stout, good recoil pad ( not for recoil, but is really sticky ) quiet and you can butt stroke with it. Downside, no storage for batteries and such.

Vltor, Lmt make nice ones too with extra goodies and decent sling mounts.

1 you might find used that I like, is the Sig 556, I got a new take off for 30 bucks, good buttpad, storage and sling mount. Looks cool too.

Good luck.

I like the Vltor emod stock

Great cheek weld, solid, sticky buttpad, several mounting points for QD sling, storage for batteries.

Amen on the VLTOR.

How much you want to spend, though? The VLTOR complete kit is about $200, Magpul's are cheaper and still good.

I'm not sure about "best," but my Tapco 6 position works very well.   Full range, solid, silent.

I'm shocked nobody has mentioned the Magpul UBR stock.

Yes, it's expensive ($265 MSRP), requires a bit more effort to install, and currently hard to get, but worth the effort.

Good point - and a nice 1st post.

I went with the VLTOR mainly because I could not find a UBR anywhere - not for any amount of money.

Swing by the new member forum and introduce yourself. Welcome aboard!   ;D

Think weight vs features.  Yes, you can get one that houses batteries, locks, has extra storage, varable length, comb, angle, etc but all that adds weight. If you've bought a 14.5/16", pencil barrel, lightweight receiver gun, why weigh it down?

Right now, the best one is the one you can afford. I like the Tapco.
