Dumb question, are we supposed to enter for each item?

Dumb question, are we supposed to enter for each item?

Yes, sir!

There is a sign up form for each of the giveaways, one for the Ruger, one for the FNAR and one for the knives. Note that you also don't need to enter more than once on the knives. After every knife we give away, we move all previous knife entries over to the next one.

I thought DRTV members who had posted at least once did not need to sign up? That's what MB said in his podcast a week ago - even said we were entered twice - automatically!

So which is it?

You guys went over the top with this one!  :o  (http://www.giveupalready.com/images/smilies/worship2.gif)

Those are some fine and I mean FINE guns, products, pieces of craftsmanship I've seen in a long time!

As a past winner of DRTV's Winter Give-Away (A beautiful Mossberg 464 Levergun with Leopold scope)  I will not enter into either gun contests.  I firmly believe that you guys and ladies deserve to win them.  But that doesn't mean I might not enter the knife contest. (http://www.giveupalready.com/images/smilies/whistilin.gif)  ;)  Those knives are pure artwork. (http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Drooling/drooling-6.gif)

I just saw the FN FAR video.  It took me a minute, but I finally got the "Wolverines" battle cry.  :P
Now I have to dig it out of my video library and watch it again.

I just found out that the Rock River Arms National Match AR Kit that I ordered last month just shipped. I was expecting to wait 4 months not 5 weeks.  Yihaaaa!

The FN FAR is a fine battle rifle; it can't hurt to try for another black rifle so soon.  Especially cause it's free. ;D

If you pay airfare, put me up on your couch and take me barramundi fishing or on a buffalo hunt, I will pack whatever I win in my luggage and give it to you, plus 1000 rounds of ammo.  You can't beat that (assuming we both stay out of jail) ;D.

And if you look real close you can see a reflection of me in one of the knife blades..As I was taking those pictures.. I was trying real hard to not let that happen, but I obviously slipped up once.. LOL

And I don't get to enter in any thing on here.. Really ticks me off.. I mean.. I don't get it! Why? Am I not a consumer of products? Am I not a poster on Down Range? Am I not a shooter? Am I not a knife user? Come on~~~~ I have come up with hundreds of ways and arguments to prove my point of WHY I should be able to enter...... Marshal just "starts shaking his head No..even before I finish ..
Its not fair I say.. Not fair at all.!! >:(

I was really looking forward to winning this one, but now that I take a second look at it, I can see it will be a real pain to clean.  Glad you got stuck with it.   ;)

Magazines, you're getting a scope with it aren't you ?
I would avoid a bi pod for General purpose but if you will only be shooting from a bench then I would think about one.

Minnesota's too cold,....You may need a warm retreat to really test it,....c'mon down and you can break it in properly, with sun tan oil..

 8)

As far as accessories, I would choose high speed low drag, low profile, optic and as TomB posted a bipod if from the bench, My Sig 556, has a NcStar Quick release bipod that has legs that ratchet up and down as needed, and it comes off with the push of a button.

Given the caliber, your range and mileage may vary with magnification options, but you've got a platform that will accommodate a 200yd zero, no problemo, down to "zombie" range within that.

Looking forward to some pics. Oh, and go pick up some Lotto tickets while your on a roll. ;)

I'm not sure it is coming with a scope.  The video introduction of the contest Micheal did didn't show one on the rifle but the promo picture did.  In my shock of winning I didn't get the full description of what was included.

Gee, imagine that   ;D on the sign up page it mentioned Leopold as one of the sponsers and I doubt that was for the SASS Vaquero's   ;D

Thanks for the invite - I could use a thaw about now with over 12 in. of snow over the past couple of days.  Of course that doesn't keep a good Minnesotan from going out and about.

Thanks, for the suggestion on lotto tickets.  There is a Power Ball tonight.

I don't break out the winter cloths until it gets below -10 actual air temperature.  One needs to  acclimate to the environment you know.  Of course long johns are for sissies.

Congratulations WatchMan,

You are very deserving. Enjoy your new toy. I would think that a little rapid fire would warm things up, even in Minnesota.

We'll look forward to your receipt and the range report and porn to follow.

Speaking of the Vaqueros, have they announced who has won them?  I know its not me because it is not that hard to reach me but I haven't seen anything about them.

Hey, Kid, how you doing?
Hi WatchMan,

I'm hanging in there. I'm still dealing with multiple medical problems, but for now I'm able to spend a little time at the computer. I can't think of a better place to spend that time than with my DRTV family.

Thanks for asking and congratulations again. It couldn't happen to a better guy.

I trust that in my absence, you have continued your excellent updates and that you have kept DRTV members apprised of all of the important issues that are so relevant to us. I have always appreciated your very thoughtful and highly relevant posts.
