Call me old fashsion but I prefer revolvers to semi's. Was in the mood to buy a .22 revolver once only to find the one I wanted can't be sold in California...needless to say I ended up with a Browning Camper. To this day I have never shot it. I have been told I could buy one used from someone willing to sell their's. Here's my option a trade my browning for a Taurus 94 or a Taurus Tracker series both in .22 or best offer. Anyone interested?

Why not just get a Ruger Single Six?

+1 on the Single Six

There is a classifieds section for this type of thread.

Get a single six..theyre easy to carry, easy to shoot, you have the option of shooting 22 mag and it's just got all those points for coolness.

Ugh, this hurts... But TAB knows what he's talking about in this rare instance. There, I said it! ;D
Pick up and try a 617. Feel the trigger, and weight of the gun. You'll laugh at the thought of buying the others. Try the short barreled one! Just dont crap it all up with optics that have no place on a six gun imo.
I dont have one, but sure wish I did. So unlike many my opinion's not being biased by what I spent money on.

You better qualify that with "about .22 revolvers" or you'll be seeing that in his signature line. ::)

The single six Ruger is a fine SA revolver, but the S&W 17, 18, 617, and j frame 63 are excellent revolvers.
If lower cost is your only option, by all means get the Ruger over the Taurus, and stay away from Rossi in this situation.
I know you will be happy with the 17, 18 or 617.
Badger, I am an expert or master in most disciplines, but now my eyes, like my body can't cash checks that my brain is used to writing. If an optic can allow you to still let you hit the 10 ring when your eyes can't, then by all means use them. Bless all of you with good eyes and can still do it the HONEST way. Thank God I can still see a rifle sight just like I remember, but handguns NO MAS.

Come on M25.
You've been shooting long enough that sights are just there in case you get itchy. ;D
My vote would be for the 617.
