This is the stuff that makes my blood boil.  What ever happened to the public servent that went into office to help his community?

I sure hope that Boxer isn't one of those screaming about execs. in companies that received bailout money, because if she is it is just the pot calling the kettle black!

Yes, of course she is one of the complainers about exec pay.

AND

When asked about allowing the Bush tax cuts to die she said it wasn't a tax increase it was just "returning money to the treasury" !  In her world all money belongs to the government!

I've said before and I'll say again. The immigration debate isn't about race, but about greed. These companies who belong to EWIC are blantantly lobbying to bring in cheap foriegn labor at a time of recesson. Unless they are stopped anything else is useless. We must tighten penalties, and strenghthen enforcement of existing laws, to start putting employers in jail and confiscating businesses. It will not take long to change their tune and cause them to start hiring American workers at higher wages. That cost will be passed on, but that's ok. The money will circulate in our communities and increase eryone's standard of living through higher consumption, homesales, autosales and the like. These people are traitors, and cutting their own throats in the long run. How many Guatemalam maids can afford to stay in a Hampton Inn? How many bus boys can eat in the restaraunt? They just don't get it.

This is the sort of thing that gave birth to true :"racism" in America. In the South prior to the Civil war, the attitudes toward blacks were based in fear and justifying the dichotomy between Freedom and economic needs. The elimination of slavery put that relationship on a different footing.
However, at the end of the Civil War the industrial North served as a meeting point between European immigrants and freed slaves, both groups were looking for jobs that had become more difficult to find with the end of the wartime manufacturing boom. The fact that former slaves were used to having nothing, and had no experience with working for wages meant that they would work cheaper than Europeans who wanted a fair wage. Not only did this competition for resources incite hatred based on race, it also led to the growth of the European socialist philosophy among American workers.

So by refusing to protect our borders, the United States gubmint is promoting not only socialism but racism as well.
