He may be a RINO but, you have to admit that that was just classic. ;D ROFL
FQ13
-
To bad he didn't do it with the Ammo bill.
Still laughing though. ;D
-
Rino or not, it takes balls to put that in writing for everyone to see. Because, you know he knew full well it was going public when he did it.
-
if he had any balls( roids shrink your balls) he would have vetoed ever bill he got until things that needed to be changed were changed.
What ticks me off about Arnold is( aside from him signing anti gun stuff, ) he was elected to change things. He had lots of ideas that would have made a diffrence. He had a election just for the changes he purposed before he was elected.
So how did the people of CA vote... against every single one of his ideas. >:( which is too bad as if some of them had passed, we would not be in as bad shape as we are now.
-
While we trash Arnie (rightfully) for being a RINO the truth is that his first term the party hacks that run Ca. slapped him silly until he agreed to play ball.
Still does not excuse his signing of anti gun legislation but that may be attributable to his being from Austria where personal firearms are not a part of their heritage.
A good reason for extending the 22nd Amendment to ALL elective offices.

TAB:
In one paragraph you lambaste the Governator for not implementing his policies, then in the next you say they weren't implemented because of the people of Kalifornia. Which is it? As much as it pains me to stick up for the RINO bastard, if it's the latter then it's HARDLY Ahhhnold's fault.
-
I have to admit, it was funny.

You have something against immigrants or something?! You think they have nothing of value to give to this country and the elected offices thereof? Do you really mean all offices? Like the county recorder, or the county sheriff? What is it you have against immigrants? Do you think that because they moved here and became citizens that they are less patriotic than you? That their idea of freedom and responsibility, because it is different than yours, though still within the possible interpretations of our Constitution, is not a valid interpretation? I am truly incensed at that statement (though I have no real reason to be). Is it possible that you are letting the actions of one color your view of the rest? Perhaps you should consider that.

Actually when I typed it I was only thinking of State and federal legislatures, The idea that even Dog catchers (excuse me, Animal Control Officers ) are elected in some jurisdictions kind of slipped my mind. But now that you have crawled up my ass in this manner I will address that.
If there were fewer immigrants in the country I might not be out of work for 9 months and counting, but setting that aside, first generation citizens are not familiar with American culture, heritage and often language.
Their butts may be in America, but their minds are still in the "old country", and only God knows where their loyalty lies.
I do not want to hear from elected officials "Well that's not how we did it in the old country". In case you missed that whole "revolution" thing that's the point of being an American. We rejected the oppressive forms of government that had existed prior to the founding of OUR nation, only an idiot or a liberal would want to reintroduce what we've fought wars to reject.
