Title: GSG-5 production stopped?

Forgive me if this has already been talked about as I haven't been on the forum much lately.

It looks like production of the German Sports Gun GSG-5 has ceased as will importation and sales.  I haven't found much on it, but it looks like H&K got in a peeing match with GSG and American Tactical Imports (ATI) over the GSG-5 looking like a MP-5.  Regardless of whether you like the GSG-5 or not I hate to see this happen.  I can only see the value of these going up for those that have them.  Anybody know any more about this?

Too true - they can be made and imported tot he US until 12/31/09, then nada.

Odd, since H&K (civilians, we hate you - you suck) lost a lawsuit based on "look and feel" when they copied someone else. Sounds like the EU legal system is a effed up as ours.

 I read some where that the suit was settled and ATI would be allowed to continue importing the GSG5.
I THOUGHT it was in the Shooting Wire or the Tactical Wire, but a quick search did not turn up the article I was looking for.

I'm not that familiar with the gun, but I did get a chance to handle one last week. I wanted to look at a Ruger SR-22, but the last one he had in stock had been picked up before I arrived so he had me look at the GSG-5.

I was looking for something with an adjustable stock and that one doesn't adjust.
