We just repelled the first wave of the undead around Tulsa at around 8 PM. Neighborhood clean up operations are ongoing and we're getting ready for the next wave right now. They came in early this year....right after the sun was down while the sky was still red tinged. Must be a new breed....be on the lookout.
We didn't lose too many to this first wave considering they caught us by surprise.
Will update as soon as possible.
Any sightings or contacts in your areas yet? Remember on the West Coast to be ready...this new bunch of ZomBAMAies came in early and they'll probably try to catch you by surprise. Sneaky bastards they are.
Beware the ZomBAMAies.

Attempted the re-distribution Obama Halloween and was almost lynched by kids shorter than 4 feet. They threatened my house with more tricks than treats...
They were against the whole taking from their candy baskets for the less fortunate.....
Kinda makes you say Hmmmm,....

OK...it took just 20 minutes to get hit by the 2nd wave of ZomBAMAies. They came up out of the waters...in Tulsa the Arkansas River and some ponds in town....outside of town they move from Skiatook Lake, Oolagah Lake and Keystone Lake. The scary thing this time...it's a coordinated attack. Widely different areas coordinated to move at the same time...really scary...the first time we've seen this from the undead.
We're still fending them off, but like MB said the 12 gauge is supreme for close in work and the 5.56 generally only knocks off chunks of jaw, cheek, whatever but does not get to the brain. Since Zombies cannot be seen more than 250 or so yards away, I am up on the 308 right now for the 50 to 250 yard ranges...that's the ticket, accurate, not too much recoil and it thins the herd a bit before the main attack and the Tromix Saiga's come out with buckshot.
Any word on your contacts?
20:30 Hrs update--IMPORTANT--The damn things have broken through our front lines. Beware..these things have some kind of control to them...they came in wearing Clooney, Oprah and Soros masks and threw our front lines in a panic. It was ugly out there....some of our guys are out for psych, maybe to be committed for good...I don't know how this is going to turn out. Best of luck to you all. I hope we are around to compare notes tomorrow.

Easy way to repel them. Hand out 20 round boxes of .556 rather than snickers bars. Pricier, yes, but I guarantee, they will never bother you again. ;D

We missed one...it got through and ambled to the neighbors house.
Not pretty. They got away, but the shock of the Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid masks put one of our guys in cardiac arrest. This years ZomBAMAies are particularly nasty. The old ways still work, but they have added an offensive element this year with those hideous masks. I still say the Soros mask is most unsettling. You should see them after you've stopped them...you know it's a mess, but those damn masks seem to look better after a smattering of zombie flesh is sprayed on them. I just don't know what else to say or comment on about that.
It's not good out tonight. It's not good.

Well, what do you expect, good sir?
It's Halloween........and some of us are sitting here....jacked up on pixie-stix, tootsie rolls, candy corn, and mini-snickers bars......
We could take out the average zombie with a butter knife and a rolling pin right now. :o :o

Only aTACTICAL rolling pin, with black synthetic furniture and a rail system, otherwise it simply won't do. 8)

Training and cool head pays off. Every time. We repelled the attacks and the undead ZomBAMAies suffered huge losses.
Someone noticed that the ZomBAMAies with masks were relying on their sense of hearing to zero in....we switched to suppressed weapons. It was like shooting fish in a barrel.
Suppressed subsonic AR-10's, a few suppressed 45's and in our area a lot of the Higgins's 44 Mag thumpers (integrally suppressed Ruger M77's 1/2 as loud as a pellet gun) took down the hoards. The guys with the suppressed AR's in .223 and 5.56 joined in confusing the hoards by shooting regular rounds suppressed. The ZomBAMAies began to disperse from their coherent groups and shuffle in every direction to the reflections of the supersonic bullet cracks.
Someone has learned how to, and is, controlling the undead. With those hideous Pelosi, Clooney, Reid, Oprah, Soros and other masks it's clear that the ZomBAMAies, who don't have what it takes to employ thought beyond chomping on human flesh, have a puppetmaster somewhere. We're going to have to be more alert next year to be prepared for the onslaught to come.
It was really bad out there this year. Worse than anything other than oh say, 1934, 1968 or 1994. I'm afraid that 2011 will be a worse onslaught than those three years and that 2010 will be a muted year whilst they regroup in hopes of hammering us with greater numbers and some sneaky new technique we haven't even thought of yet.

The zombies didnt come by here, s far as I know.... Maybe they don't like big loud dogs! ;D Of course, I was at work, so I really don't know.
