As an Aussie, why did you end up in frozen Tundra? If you wated wide open spaces, west Tx., NM, AZ and NV seem more sane to this Fl. boy.

At least it's zero degrees Fehrenheit, if it were Celcius, it would be really cold!

The reverse actually, zero degrees C is 32 F. Its zero degrees Kelvin you have to worry about.

I gotcha, Path. ;)
0 deg F = -18C.
I'm in South Georgia and we're already getting strong gusts and steady winds. Predicting 4 to 12 inches in the next 12 to 24 hours.
Should be all we get out of it.
Saying my prayers for those folks bearing the larger brunt of the storm.

Huh? Water freezes at 0 C and 32 F, eg 0 F be colder, not so backwards. I did miss the joke though, thought it was just a brain fart on your part Timothy. My bad.

It's a play on measurement readings.....
Actually, the temp is the same regardless of scale.
If the temp is 0C then it's 32F,,,,,if it's 0F then it's -18C.
I had a teacher once that would get his feathers in a ruffle over the definition of "cold". He said temperature is relative only to heat or the lack thereof. The temperature scale measures the "absence of heat" not how "cold" it is. He was rather touchy in his pet peeve.

And black, grey and white are absence of color! I had a the same teacher......maybe a distant cousin of yours Pegleg...
