Title: Rossi Revolvers
Post by: Jkwas on December 03, 2007, 12:58:35 PM
Anyone here have any experience with Rossi revolvers?  I like what I see but that doesn't always count.
Two things I like:   Hammer mounted firing pin and Hammer block instead of a transfer bar.
Oh, and also the price.  ;D

A friend of mine has a Stainless .357 that he likes, and to be honest, carries pretty regularly.

I have a model 712 with a compensated barrel in .357 mag. and I really like it.  It shoots well and will perform consistently with even the poorest ammo I can find.  It might not be light in the trigger pull, or super sweet in looks, but it is a great performer for the money.

A buddy of mine has one. He loves it. Pound for pound it's a good value for the money from what I hear. He owns some S&W's too but he likes the Rossi as good.

I should add to my previous post, this friend of mine is co-owner of a gun shop, so he can get pretty much whatever production handgun he'd want for carry. the two I've seen him carry are th Rossi .357 Snub, and a Glock 21.
