Isn't doing away with tyrants that take our country down the wrong path, or just plain destroy it what Mr. Jefferson (I think it was him) stated concerning the Second Amendment?
If they are so worried about this maybe they should pay attention to the errors of their ways instead of what they can do to continue disenfranchising the bulk of true Americans.

The fact that this knothead writes for the Huffington Post should tell you all you need to know about what he was saying.
In a nutshell, "religious conservatives are murderous thugs and gun nuts".
Other than the murderous thug thing, I resemble that remark. ;D
