Title: Re: USA Today has a new poll out on the 2nd Amendment

Just voted and sent on to about 30 others.
;D Interesting (non-scientific) results to this point. ;D
Like you said, how are they going to spin this one?
I'm sure that Hillary would say it is a clear victory for gun bans when 350 out of 35,000 think we shouldn't be able to own. :'(

Was curious, so went and checked the vote.
As of 23:14 on 12-06-2007 cst it's still 98%/1%/0% with 56056 voting.
As many votes as are going in on this site I have a hard time believing the anti's haven't caught on. Any idea why it is staying our way by such a landslide?

What I find remarkable is that 2% of the voters actually believe that the Second Amendment doesn't give an individual the right to bear arms. I imagine these individuals represent a portion of the nation's illiterates.

Sadly what I'm afraid you might find is that the 2% are probably very well educated and consider themselves the intellectual elite.

Go to youtube and search "john edwards" and "guns" - you will find a very disturbing video of him being asked rapid fire questions about rights and privileges. He says things like "living wage", "health care" and other liberal talking points are "rights", whereas owning a handgun is a privilege. I'm sure he considers himself not only rich but also one of the intellectual elite. And this video, along with the one on his five-minute "get my hair just right" video, demonstrate him to be dumb as a sack of hammers. Sadly, that is just the kind of manipulative ignoramus that the sheeple in this country love to elect, like Slick Willie.
I am thinking it way past time to clean the gene pool in this country.
