Has anyone put their hands on the new Para ordinance high-capacity single action 45 pistol in stainless?
I was looking through their website this evening and I was wondering if anyone on the board have or use
Para's pistols? I am leading toward one of the limited editions. Michael on the most recent addition of downrange radio
was talking about new products from Para so I was looking for some input.
Thanks
Don

I have 2 HiCaps in .45 in blue (they weren't making stainless when I got mine) and love them. Have been to 2 USPSA Nationals where they were being used by squadmates (in .40 cal.) - no troubles, no jams etc. Others may have different experiences.

8)just got and shot a new para pxt ss not the hi capacity. wanted one that I could use 8 shot mags that i already have. It was nice to shoot at the range. not problem one. good shooting. Like the gun, I did run the slide sitting here watching tv last night. Always do with every new gun that I buy. I would like to hold a hi-cap model of there's but find most hicaps don't ft my hand. Anyway ther is my two cents worth. hope it helps. Ray.

Coltfan, YOU of all people know they make good guns (especially the free ones, right ;D ) the only other things would be how the Hi-cap grip fits your hand, and the actual grade of stainless steel they use, that would determine HOW rust resistant they are all stainless will rust just some alloys do it quicker than others. One caution, Blued steel will develope "surface rust" quite a while before it starts to pit, but stainless, while it resists rust longer, pits much quicker when it does develope. Hope this helps. Have you shot the one you won yet? Tell us how you like it.

I have a Para P14.45 LDA Limited that I've been shooting for 6 or 7 years in 3-gun matches. Has never failed to feed, fire or extract. Sufficiently accurate.
No reservations.
