Title: Safe Packer?
Post by: Large Cal. on May 01, 2008, 08:03:59 PM
Hay Michael

In the last Down Range Pod Cast, you mentioned that you used a safe packer for "off body carry."  Of-cures, I have have heard wrong....

Please elaborate, is this a specific product?  If not please pass us more information on your system.  I'm always looking for another good idea for keeping a weapon handy when I can't have (or don't want it) one my body.

Thanks

I have one - it's quite handy and can be found here:

It's a superb product! I wish everything was this well-designed. Visit the Wilderness Tactical site here:

It is super versatile and unrecognizable as a gun carrying device...I have actually had people ask me where to get the "cool Blackberry carrier."

I've found that I can attach a small SafePacker with a Ruger LCP .380 on board to the handlebars of my bicycle. I also attach the SafePacker on my belt as an ersatz holster when necessary.

I cannot recommend this product enough!

Wow, I must own this!

Michael, how about doing a little giveaway for one of these?

Thank one and all!

I visited the web site and am really impressed with the system.  I started using a fanny pack years ago when I developed asthma.  I need some thing to carry all the meds in.  Next I added sun glasses, check book, gun, Tazer, etc.  The safe packer won't handle as many extras but it looks much more comfortable and would be the perfect attachment for my hiking pack or lap top case.

Thanks for the tip!

P.S. I'm love'n my LCP!  Great pocket pistole!

I'll second that idea!! Although I've never used a Safepacker myself. I wouldn't mind having and trying one.
