Tom has been going on about this on his show for a while, even got really annoying to some of his guests, throwing it at them when they came on to talk about something else.

On the other hand - kewl gun!!   ;D

I was saving up for a Michael Bane commemorative Para, and now this. Doggone, I don't need to be spending all of this money. Well, I do, but so many guns, so little money!   >:(

The most significant point of this commemorative issue is that a portion of the proceeds go to The Second Amendment Foundation to continue the fight to support our rights by helping to fund lawsuits going forward.

I want one, but it probably won't be submitted for Kalifornia's drop safety test to be certified for sale.  >:(

Considering the Model 442 Airweight lists for $561 on Smith & Wesson's website, getting one for $450 does sound like a very fair deal indeed.  Although the Heller Commemorative is a special edition Airweight, it won't be a limited production run given the fact that the intent of its introduction is to celebrate the SCOTUS ruling as well as to continue raising funds for the Second Amendment Foundation.

S&W should send one to Scalia, Roberts, Kennedy, Thomas and Alito.  ( Maybe they should send Stevens, Souter, Ginsburg and Breyer each an empty box.) ;D

If you went on vacation out of state and bought one, could you bring it back into Kalifornia?

In Kalifornia, if they add anything to the name, such as …commemorative, it has to be resubmitted. This happened with Para's "Gun Rights" pistols. It took us a while just to get those on the list. If anyone can think of a hair-brained idea for a "reasonable" gun law, it can get passed in CA. When the masses hear the word "reasonable" from a politico, they seem to believe it to often. I wonder what percentage of people really have an idea how many gun laws are already in place and that they aren't doing a thing for anyone's safety already.

Some gun trivia... CA gun laws account for 15% of the total pages in BATF's "State Laws and Published Ordinaces--Firearms"

And CA is still trying to pass even MORE Gun Laws.

This is just one of the reasons the wife and I will soon be full time residents of Carlsbad,NM.
