This is designed to compete with the Ruger Precision Rifle. It's called the "Savage BA Stealth". It's looking like a better deal all the way around. Complete with a "Factory Blueprinted Action". The price isn't bad at all for what you get. I'm a big fan of Savage bolt actions. They really provide good out of the box accuracy for what you pay. I'm willing to bet this rifle will be no exception. And it will be available in both a long and short action. (Scroll down just below the Savage A-22 Magnum).

Let me guess, It's a REVOLUTIONARY NEW bolt action with a SUPER, TACTICAL polymer adjustable stock.

Pretty much. But as far as these type of rifles go, I would trust Savage for accuracy over anyone else. I've never been disappointed in the accuracy of all 3 of mine. (Standard Accustocks, not a "Skeletonized Chassis").

I liked that thumb hole stock they had a few years ago.

Hi;
I also like the Savage line of firearms and have a Model 110 here at the house for a while now. What caught my eye was the Model 42 take down in 22 LR and .410 - the price is suggested @ $500. This is the type I would hunt small game with and have as 1 of my SHTF / Bug Out weapons.

I like this. Are the magazines AR 10 or M1A patterns?
