I had the chance to listen to podcast 460 and am looking forward to watching your new project. Will it be available for viewing on-line?

At this point the plan is to run a 30-minute broadcast version, hopefully this month [OC works in pretty much a 30-minute universe], followed by a "Director's Cut" of approximately an hour on MOTV. Also on MOTV we will run out complete interviews with out experts, which I honestly feel will add additional invaluable information. As soon as OC assigns us a time and date, I will post it here.

THE BEST DEFENSE: MASS CASUALTY EVENT, our special on how to stay alive in the hell of a terrorist/active shooter attack, will air on OUTDOOR CHANNEL 28 September, with an encore on 2 November. I don't have the times yet, but we'll get them up on DRTV and Facebook ASAP.

Richard,
Evidently OC ran it as a one time special event, not as an episode of The Best Defense. DVR's who were setup to record the SERIES of TBD didn't activate because of it. Many of us did not get it recorded.

I am having to restrain my typed language because I did not have the recording I expected either. Outdoor Channel screwed the pooch on that one.

I got an episode of JM and his family. I forget the name of the show.

Is it OC or is it whoever the third party is that collects your DVR fee??? I see so many "generic" descriptions and bad data that I would guess that it is the Guide producer. No doubt owned by, good rumor to start (inserts evil laugh), Bloomburg.
-
I don't know if there's just one organization that prepares the guides for DTV, Dish and all the Cable companies. I'm on DTV and I've heard from a Comcast customer who also missed it. I think what happened is OC reported it to the guide(s) a special not as an episode of TBD.
Anybody out there with another cable company or with Dish that did or didn't get it recorded?

I am good with blaming it on Bloomberg....
