Title pretty much says it.
Are they good but relatively new in the market ?
Are they less expensive ? Like Charter Arm ?
Or are they just crap, like the Sig Mosquito ?
-
I've had one for close to two years. Easy to carry and is a great 20 yard gun.
-
Michael Bane likes them.

We can ask JBet about guns MB likes. ;D ;D

SG had a show/tour of their operation a while back. They've been around for a few years and are trying to provide a quality alternative to the big guys. I'd chose them over Taurus.
-
You can buy two for the price of a P365!
-
And one could get 3 Diamondbacks for the same money.
I respect these American companies. But they're competing head to head with Ruger, S&W and other companies in a flooded field. Their main offering is lower price. SCCY, from all reports produces a quality product and it can give the personal service of a smaller company. DB has branched into other products and i think their DB380 is the thinnest 380 out there. It is though a DAO which could be a plus for pocket carry, but not in vogue at the moment.
Bear in mind you're dealing with small companies up against giants. Their lasting as long as they have does speak well of their product and tenacity.

I bought one for the oldest granddaughter last year to keep in the house. I was looking at the new model that had a red dot sight already installed.

That was what caught my eye.
Optic included for under $400 ?
Problem is, I've got half a dozen projects but only funds for 2 if I do them right. :'( ;D

Yes but he made it good.
On the other hand I kept mine and bought two more Ruger SR9's. With that $20 Ghost trigger connector the pull dropped way down and they have the very best reset of any pistol I own.
I'll have to check up on the SCCY website and that gun that comes with a red dot.

I have to focus on that 3D stuff.
I should probably buy a dedicated computer to work with the CAD stuff. :-\
But I HAVE budgeted for a 300 Upper. ;D

Got it.
No chance to shoot it yet.

Not all of us can afford ammo, and plywood targets.
Spent all my money on guns and printer. ;D
I can give you a deal on some dummy cartridges though. ;D ;D

Awwww, c'mon. I know you gotta have some ammo squirreled away somewhere.

It's the plywood . ;D

Another good group of pistols to look at and consider are the Girsan / Tisas brand of Turkish pistols. They have had some very nice clones of the Beretta 92, the 1911, and the Browning Hi-Power on the market in this country for a long time. I picked up one of their Regent Stainless Hi-Power clones a couple of years ago, and it's been a really good gun.
It feeds and ejects flawlessly, has nice machine work with few tool marks. And a good fit and overall finish. And it uses all of my Browning Hi-Power magazines, as well as Mec-Gars for the Browning Hi-Power.
-
Still haven't got to shoot mine :-\
-
Alright. Surely by now you have shot the thing.
If not, you need to put it up on a forum give-a-way for the rest of us to have a shot at it....

Bought a box of ammo, have to wait for the mortgage on my sheet of plywood to be approved. ;D
