Here is the House version HR 5717.  Nobody is leaking the specifics of the Senate Bill being negotiated.

I will let you read it before I jump in with what I read, but one item missing from the summary is the increase of excise taxes (to 30% on firearms and 50% on ammunition).

I'm missing something here.  Where's the compromise?  You know, like reversing '68GCA?

This is the House Bill that has been passed.  Its only compromise is that they offered Vasoline when we bend over.

The Senate Bill is still in negotiation, and the claims are that the ten Dem. ten Rep. group has compromised to get the foundation of their Bill going.  I'm sure it will need Vasoline as well.

You do know that Vasoline is for external use only?
