Yes FQ, those fall under my definition of "Declared war"   ::)
Good rule of thumb is that if it includes strategic bombing, it's a war.
Somalia was supposed to be a "Humanitarian Aid" mission.    ::)

From what Mark Bowden wrote in "Black Hawk Down" that is pretty much how it worked out, The Chopper Pilot, who was fading in and out , heard shooting, then didn't hear any more shots and then got taken prisoner, as far as I know with out going back to the book, neither mans body was ever found.

It couldn't have worked out that way in Deadliest missions, because both guys were talking about it. I dont know if they were taken as pows or if they escaped sokmehow.

It was not them talking after the mission, they are both presumed killed.
