Lead Bullets In Sig Pistols

Just returned from my local gun shop where Iwas paying some more $$ on a lay-o-way that I will have to some how sneak into the house past my wife next week. One of the gun store coffee drinking comandos was talking about how lead bullet reloads won't work in Sig pistols and could cause the barrels on Sig to split, I know lead is not good in Glock factory barrels but have not heard the same for Sig. Just wondering if any body shoots lead reloads in thier Sig handguns.
