Great Series
« on: August 07, 2011, 09:09:38 AM »
TIVO and I were hanging around this morning and decided to watch Gun Stories.  I've been watching since it came out, but have never commented on the series.

This is simply a great series.  The production is great, the interviews are great, heck, it's all great.

Kudo's to MB, his crew and the Outdoor Channel.

Got home this afternoon and fired up the TIVO...there was Bill Laughner talking about being in Houston escorted by an astronaut in a group with Eugene Stoner.  Then there was a Navy bigwig on the show making comments...at least I think that one 'cause I had to rewatch the 1911 show along with that break action SW pistol.

This is a great show.  They credit the Woolaroc museum and Davis Arms museum in Claremore.  I'm just so fortunate to live in between both of them.  If you guys get near Tulsa, don't deprive yourself, visit them both.
