I am a new member and just read this forum. Glad I joined. I am a Marine, love tequila, beer, guns and horses. Seeing the recipe reminds me of the saying about ruining good whiskey by mixing with coke. Since I live somewhat close to the Mexican border I can get good tequila. If you can find El Jimador, Tequila Reposada, get it, better than Cuervo any day. Also try Tequila Sauza. Mexico does not export it's really good tequila. Those two are cheaper than Cuervo.
The recipe sounds interesting but having tried so many different combinations, I'll pass and let the young ones try it. I like my tequila straight, no lime or salt (with good tequila you don't need them). Also like my Crown Royal, straight, no mixing.
My horse's name is Azteca. My Ar's name is "Hillary" and my burro's name is "Slick Willy". I wonder if I am insulting my burro.
No longer lean and mean but still all Marine.
