Air Guns

Picked up some new info on the history of airguns, especially pre-1800's stuff.

I was disappointed in the story line though.   Robert Beeman was mentioned as having received a Daisy as a young child.  Then the show went on to explain the Daisy history, but never came back to explain what role Beeman played in air guns.

It sort of skipped over that whole period from the toy era and jumped to Sig Saur's guns replica guns.
It's like all modern history was just left on the cutting room floor.  The R1, the pneumatic springer and the PCP where never explained.

I imagine there's a part 2 to the show that could be put together just on the modern era.
