Hanging in limbo
« on: April 20, 2019, 08:09:09 PM »
I announced six months ago that I got my FOID (Firearm Owner Identification) card.  Last weekend I spent 16 hours taking the class for my Concealed License.  Now I wait for the state of Illinois to grant me my protected Right.

Interesting coming to a new world and being with so called like minded people.  The brainwashing here is so bad that even the gun culture preaches the virtues of begging and paying for the privilege to exercise a basic Right.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

I've been in CT since last August and haven't even bothered.  They've made it such a pain in the ass here in CT after Sandy Hook that it's just not worth the effort or cost at the moment.

My company abruptly closed it's doors after 45 years due to our incompetent owners up in Calgary so I'm forced to leave CT anyway and move back to MA.  My license is still valid there for another month so a quick change off address, get my DL renewed and pay the 100 bucks and viola, a renewed LTC.

Such a f*#ked up system...

You guys live too far north and east.

FINALLY, with a true conservative governor Oklahoma recently went to Constitutional Carry.  So things are moving in the correct direction here.

Well, constitutional carry has been the law nearly a month now in Oklahoma.  No blood in the streets.
