Yes, it is in very small quantities, it also destroys copper pipe as it can react with in and form small pockets of cl2 - that that binds with the copper.  It is also very dangerous to fish/ anfibs
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

This is what makes me so disgusted with the A holes.
Anything can be a weapon.
And it's not like that's a big friggin' secret.
Sept 11 rubbed their noses in it .
Box cutters ?
Really ?
It won't even stab, but you're going to kill a couple thousand people with 20 of them ?
Did you ever sit and consider how many devices we have invented just to kill A holes ?
I don't mean generalities like "spears, and guns", I mean specifically purpose designed items like, Lance, Javelin, Pilum, and Pike.
Or Firelock, Arquebus, Musket, Musketoon, rifle, carbine, and Short rifle.
The problem is not the tools.
The fact is that humans are just a murderous bunch of bastards and if they can't bash you with a rock they will build a civilization to develop something that can kill you.

And then put a Hello Kitty sticker on it.    ;D
I'm the NRA, and I ain't giving up squat.
